- Dr. Walker: Why Orthopedics?
Today, we welcome Dr. Walker to the podcast!
He completed his orthopedic residency and internship at the University of Arizona, the Phoenix Campus, and a hand surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He earned his medical degree from Ohio State University.Dr. Walker's interests include hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder surgery, along with tendon and ligament injuries, arthritis, fracture care, joint replacement & reconstruction.
Dr. Walker currently practices at the Desert Orthopedic Center in Arizona with three other physicians (Dr. Ahmed, Dr. Shakir, and Dr. Pandya). They have an amazing team and have truly been helping the Arizona community. They have clinics in North Scottsdale, Old town Scottsdale, and Glendale, Arizona I am extremely excited to have Dr. Walker on the podcast to talk about why he got into orthopedics and what makes his practice unique.

Welcome to "The Doctor’s Corner" where we will be interviewing some of the most well respected and prominent physicians across the globe.
Our first guest is Dr. Minesh Zaveri. Dr. Zaveri is a pain medicine specialist in Phoenix, AZ with more than 20 years of experience. He has previously founded two pain management clinics and served as the Medical Director for the St. Luke’s Hospital Pain Center in Mountain Vista as well as at Tempe St. Luke’s. Specializing in advanced medicine and techniques, and armed with extensive experience and knowledge, Dr. Zaveri has achieved success when working with patients who otherwise had little hope for a full and functional life. Dr. Minesh Zaveri, D.O. is double board certified in Anesthesia and Pain Management. Trained by the leading experts in these two fields, Dr. Zaveri graduated from Arizona College Of Osteopathic Medicine Of Midwestern University, Midwestern University in 2002 and completed his initial anesthesia training at the University of Pittsburgh-Mercy followed by a pain fellowship at Temple University. Currently, Dr. Zaveri lectures & trains fellow pain management physicians on a national scale. Today, we dive into what makes his practice unique. You can find him at Sonoran Pain & Spine in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Woodruff shares his story and how he defines a GOOD MEDICAL SALES REP!
Dr. Woodruff was born in Arkansas. He completed his residency at both Louisiana State University and Oschner Medical Center. From there, he completed a robotic and minimally invasive urologic oncology fellowship at The Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Upon finishing his fellowship, Dr. Woodruff moved to Northwest Arkansas where he practiced until 2012 serving as the Director of Robotic Surgery at Northwest Medical Center. Shortly after that, he moved to the desert with his family and now has his own practice called Woodruff Urology in Mesa, Arizona.

She initially broke in at stryker, moved from there to integra, and now she is at Hologic selling capital and disposables in the breast cancer space. She sought out a job at Hologic because She has always been passionate about women’s health. Matt Graduated from The University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Before Matt broke into Medical Sales, he worked on the West Coast Marketing Team for McDonalds. He got to help firsthand with their TV & Radio ads. Then, he started interning for a sales company called DriveTime. After that, he broke into Medical Sales!! He started out as an associate sales rep with little experience and almost a non-existent knowledge of the medical field. As an associate rep, Matt shattered his numbers and was promoted to a full line Medical Sales Representative in under 1 year. He now manages one of the largest territories in Arizona for shoulder arthroplasty.
