Republican Candidate for Secretary of State Max Engling made headlines
this week when his campaign announced they had returned a $60,000
donation from a dark money group associated with Senator Jim Banks. The
announcement came after Knox County Clerk David Shelton filed a
complaint about the donation. Multiple parts of the story have raised
eyebrows, including Engling's camp claiming ignorance about the status
of group despite what appears to be multiple associations with Engling
over the past year. Will the dark money return be an issue during the
campaign or something that will quickly be forgotten? Rob Kendall, Jim
Merritt and Abdul-Hakim Shabazz discuss on Statehouse Happenings.
