Can we? As we observe and are impacted by highly organized violent actors in our streets once again, many of us, especially those who have served this great nation for decades of our lives, are deciding to act so our grandchildren can inherit that country, not the one created by the biological warfare of COVID-19, the overreach of government that attacked our rights and censored us. We want them to have a nation that is so strong, the warfare you’re seeing in the world today won’t erupt. One where our adversaries won’t decide to fly drones and spy balloons over our critical military installations in our own country. A homeland where the people that live here and want to legally immigrate here love the principles we were founded upon and want to be a part of this wonderful experiment of liberty and prosperity, instead of trying to destroy it. We are demanding a government that can be held accountable, especially at the highest levels in institutions like the US military. One of those veterans who’ve dedicated their lives has a new book out addressing these very topics. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is letting rioters illegally block the freeway in LA. Democrat politicians continue to wrongly allow, and even encourage, the massive violence in California. President Trump has correctly federalized the California National Guard because local and Federal law enforcement units are overwhelmed by the numbers of violent rioters who are now using deadly weapons to attack officers. Unfortunately, the war within our borders isn’t just elected officials rebelling in sanctuary states like California, but they carry their resistance activities into the Senate confirmation process and are obstructing many appointees who have fought for our country and are desperately needed to lead President Trump’s team to re-establish America’s strength, secure our borders, and take care of our veterans. My guest today is Mark Lucas, the founder of Veteran Action, an activist group advocating for America First policies that strengthen national security and provide unwavering support for our veterans. Lucas served as an infantry officer in the Iowa Army National Guard and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger School. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge and Bronze Star Medal in Afghanistan during the deadliest year of Operation Enduring Freedom. Mark has built some of the largest and most effective grassroots efforts in the conservative movement. Lucas served as the Executive Vice President of the Article III Project. He conducted a media blitz defending Pete Hegseth and the rest of President Trump’s cabinet. This effort recruited over 60,000 volunteers who contacted their lawmakers over 250,000 times.

When I came into the media business, I made a promise to myself and those that follow me that I would always do my utmost to follow the facts and truth and let them know when something I say is my opinion. That is not the easy thing, especially when I must have tough conversations about people I consider allies. That’s the case for this story but I’ve followed the questions surrounding Congressman Mills for several months as its developed without saying anything as the facts developed. Congressman Mills is a man who routinely displays the courage to help anyone in need, and we’ve seen him do that from his military service, to helping people get out of Afghanistan, helping Americans get out of Haiti in turmoil, and providing assistance to all those in need in Western North Carolina when the Federal Government abandoned them. But the time to have a conversation is now, because something strange is going on, and it involves the FBI, so we are doing that today. And as usual, the Capital Police corruption has caught our attention again with the recent naming of a new acting Chief that our colleagues have investigated before due to his corruption, and now Acting Chief Sean Gallagher is being called out again as so corrupt, even the Union is submitting letters opposing his being named Chief. The investigative journalist involved in investigating both these stories I know best is Steve Baker. You’ve seen him on the show before, a musician turned independent investigative journalist, accused J-6 terrorist pardoned by President Trump and now an official Blaze journalist with Glenn Beck’s outfit!

America is facing a surge in homeland terrorism that’s more dangerous than ever before. In Boulder, Colorado, Mohamed Sabry Soliman attacked a pro-Israel event, setting people on fire and injuring 8 while screaming Free Palestine among other pro-atrocity tropes. He was in the country illegally and is now facing murder and terror charges. In Washington, D.C., Elias Rodriguez shot 2 staffers from the Israeli Embassy outside a museum and shouted “Free, free Palestine” as he was arrested. In Palm Springs, California, a 26-year-old extremist bombed a fertility clinic because he believed having kids is evil. Michigan saw a 19-year-old Air National Guard airman plotting a mass shooting at a military base for ISIS. He even used a drone to map out his attack before the FBI caught him. Angry attackers have been shooting at and burning Teslas because of Elon’s ties to the Trump administration. All of this on top of the ISIS supporting terrorist and Army reservist that killed civilians in New Orleans on New Years and the Special Forces soldier that attacked the Las Vegas Trump Tower the same week. The FBI says it is tracking every threat and are no longer distracted by things like chasing MAGA Grandmas from January 6 but how effective are they as a new administration is getting in place and personnel changes are prolific? That is why my guest today is retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent, Chris Hinkle. He describes himself on X as a Blunt Force Conservative, Frequent Radio Guest and Guest Host and Undefeated on the Constitutional Debate Stage!

CDM Press reported yesterday that the Ukraine had successfully conducted a large-scale drone attack at four Russian airfields housing nuclear bombers and the Russia’s Northern Fleet Headquarters base, where nuclear submarines are based. Early reports estimated nearly 30 percent of Russia’s nuclear bomber fleet to have been destroyed or damaged. While this is a significant blow to Russia’s deterrence forces, it’s not likely to have much impact on the current battlefield. The larger question is how Russia is going to respond to such losses, which are estimated cost more than $2 billion so far, and according to the nuclear doctrine they published last year, they may be entering that realm of operations. The other big question: will Russia respond against any of Ukraine’s allies if they can confirm what type of support was used in the attacks? And finally, the peace talks second meeting convened this morning in Istanbul, where both delegations are at the table, so that should be interesting to see if any forward movement is possible. These basic functions of government established by our Constitution are being threatened by the reality of our leviathan Federal government in spite of honest efforts by Americans like Elon Musk. The DOGE cuts we’ve seen so far are miniscule compared to what we will find if we keep going. But can we get the existing cuts through Congress and if those are a problem what will happen when we get to the really big programs like Social Security, and welfare programs that sign up millions of people, or the healthcare programs that do the same while driving costs up and quality down? All of this being attempted in the context of the big, beautiful bill, that as passed by the House is likely ti generate over $10 trillion in more debt over the next ten years and don’t even get me started on defense department cuts and emerging major challenges with artificial intelligence! My guest today is Charles Sauer, who was just named in the Washingtonian as one of the 500 most influential people shaping public policy. Charles is the president of the Market Institute and has previously worked on Capitol Hill, for a governor, and for an academic think tank.

Lt Col Scheller was right and I’m glad he’s on the team the Secretary of Defense has established to conduct this review. We all dedicated years, in my case the last decade of my 32-year career, to defeating the enemy in Afghanistan. Sadly, we did defeat the enemy but transitioned to a nation-building mission that led directly to the epic failure we saw culminate under the Biden Administration. The blood of Americans was spilled unnecessarily and hundreds of civilians died because of the decisions made in the years and months leading up to their deaths. However no senior officer or civilian decision makers have been held accountable for the tragedy, in fact today you’ll learn that some have even been promoted to four-star level and handed command of critically important organizations. I think it’s more than appropriate we talk about this review effort today, the day after Memorial Day, the day in which we honor those Americans who’ve fallen in service to our country.
