America’s government is at war with her own citizens, especially with combat veterans. The treatment that retired US Marine Captain Chris Kuehne and his family received at the hands of the FBI is sickening. I met Chris and his family at a Patriot Freedom Project’s event in Bedminster New Jersey just over a week ago. I get that some folks on January 6th committed crimes that included violence and those people should be punished if found guilty, to the same extent that Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA people have been investigate and punished. But that is not what is happening. The false narrative of insurrection is being used by the FBI, DOJ, and Judges in the DC Federal court system as a brutal cudgel to batter these people and their families inhumanely. Captain Kuehne’s wife Annette was pregnant when the FBI conducted a no-knock tactical raid on her home and had a miscarriage the following day. Was this attack on a family necessary? No, it was not. Just like the felony charge of obstruction of an official proceeding was unnecessary and has been overturned by the US Supreme Court in just last week. Fortunately, many of us have been calling this out as wrong and we encourage all of you to do so too. As Steve Bannon has said from the very beginning, we will hold these people accountable, and today’s show is about helping and supporting all of these political prisoners. Bannon was even spending his time on the last night he has before prison speaking out on the treatment of the J6ers. He isn’t even talking about his own case at all. We were supposed to have Captain Kuehne as my guest today but he is in the hospital undergoing serious surgery for a condition that he developed over the last 48 hours. The point is to publicize his family’s story so we are pressing on to do that. We must fight for truth, justice and the America way.” From the website of that man, retired Air Force Lt Col, A-10 pilot, combat veteran, and January 6th political prisoner Larry Brock and he is correct, hope will never be lost as long as there are Americans on this planet with the courage to defend liberty. The AP reported on March 17, 2023 that “A retired Air Force officer who stormed the U.S. Capitol dressed in combat gear and carried zip-tie handcuffs into the Senate gallery was sentenced on Friday to two years in prison.” In a letter to the judge, a retired Air Force major general praised Brock’s military service. The major general, whose name was redacted from public court filings, said Brock risked his life to protect U.S. forces from a Taliban attack, flying below mountain peaks into a valley “saturated with enemy forces.” “The result thwarted enemy advances on U.S. personnel, saved U.S. lives and defused an ever-escalating situation for the forces at that remote base in Afghanistan,” the major general wrote. Nevertheless, Judge Bates convicted Brock in a bench trial of all six counts in his indictment, including obstruction of an official proceeding, the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress for certifying President Joe Biden’s electoral victory, The obstruction charge is a felony; the other five counts are misdemeanors. Brock was not involved in any violence although false reporting stated that he was, and he is my guest today as we set the record straight and publicize his story.🇺🇸Colonel's Brief is a reader-supported publication. Many Americans believe that the United States is in decline. They see a country that has become unrecognizable: where individuals are reduced to their race, ethnicity, or sexual identity; where children are indoctrinated into radical ideologies, where antisemitism has become widespread. All of these ills are rooted in Marxism. Of course, it is not Soviet Marxism, but a Marxism that was shaped by European intellectuals, adapted and refined by America’s student radicals of the 1960s, and diffused throughout the culture as those student radicals became professors, community organizers, and leaders. The end goal of these NextGen Marxists is expropriation, redistribution, central planning, and collectivism. They are working toward nothing less than the cultural transformation of the United States—and they have partially succeeded. But we will defeat it. Israels Prime Minister Netanyahu continues to claim the United States is withholding weapons shipments while Defense Minister Gallant is sei visiting the US this week for high level meetings with Secretary of Defense Austin and the senior American defense team. Transitioning from one’s birth gender to the other is a brutal, medieval, and inhuman activity supported by medical and mental health workers, I hesitate to call them professionals, almost without question. Worse, according to the Amazon description of today’s guest’s book, Detrans - True Stories of Escaping the Gender Ideology Cult, Trans activists are all about speaking up—unless you regret your “transition” and have made the journey back. If you question gender ideology, you’d better keep your mouth shut. That was at the Pentagon’s celebration of "Pride Month," at the 13th Annual Pride Ceremony. Hosted by the DOD Association of LGBTQI+ Service Members, Employees, and Allies, the "Pride event" featured several speakers, including this man, Navy Rear Admiral Mike Brown, division director for Operations in the Information Environment. Brown was being celebrated for his choice to destroy his marriage and children’s lives by coming out as gay. The significance of our armed forces and its leadership being so overly focused on the sexual choices and forced celebrations of them cannot be overstated. We are on the brink of World War Three, our recruiting goals are not being achieved, military leaders are routinely lying to congress about the causes of this and more importantly, our low readiness rates. I was once a person who shrugged at other’s lifestyle choices thinking it was their business as long as they kept it out of my life but now, government force is being used to make people like me, a Christian, father, and husband, to not only acknowledge these degenerates as morally correct, but publicly celebrate them against my will and the facts that I know to be true. That is a huge problem and military professionals, especially those with operational careers and experience, are pushing back.  My guest today is John Frankman, John was a Captain in the Army who served as a Green Beret assigned to 7th Special Forces Group. He voluntarily separated from active duty due to the COVID 19 vaccine mandate debacle. Before going on active duty, he spent four years in the Catholic seminary studying to be a priest with the intent of being a chaplain before discerning that God had different plans for him. Wokeism is a Marxist attack on human rights, and it is obviously emanating from our universities. America’s failure to recognize and deal with this attack could lead to a second civil war. The description of today’s guest’s book, America's Second Civil War: Progressivism's Authoritarian Threat, Where It Came from, and How to Defeat It reads: In the founding principles of the American Revolution—that all individuals have unalienable natural rights to life, liberty, and the fruits of their labor, and that governments should exist only to protect these rights—were unique in human history. The nation’s failure to secure equal rights for all to self-ownership eventually led to a civil war but just four decades later, social science faculties at the country’s top colleges and universities repudiated the country’s founding principles. The cause of this startling change was the education that hundreds of American college students and graduates received in German universities in the late 19th century. Germany’s professor class was dominated by state socialists who taught that individuals had no natural rights, only privileges granted to them by the government. American students absorbed these beliefs and after their return, established this country’s first graduate-level programs, seeding the first generation of PhDs. Inventing the name “progressives” for themselves, their goal was to recast America’s governmental and economic institutions in the image of Germany’s authoritarian government and oligarchical society. Higher education was transformed with disastrous results for the humanities and social sciences. Generation after generation of students, including those who went on to teach, abandoned this country’s traditional relationship of the individual to the state. Over the next several decades, American politics, journalism, law, and education evolved in directions inimical to the nation’s founding principles, leaving the country increasingly fractured—not unlike the decades leading up to the first Civil War. My guest today is the author of Winning America's Second Civil War. Jeffrey E. Paul is a research professor in the Social Philosophy Center at West Virginia University.
