Why didn’t Speaker Pelosi and DC Mayor Bowser authorize the request by US Capital Police Chief Sund to use the National Guard before and on January 6th? These video revelations reveal Pelosi knew then and knows now, that she was responsible for security. What is going on here? The narrative is falling apart and Pelosi and company are trying to spin the story away from the facts, as usual. As part of the narrative collapse, Julie Kelly broke the news on her substack that “In the days and weeks leading up to January 6, the nation's highest-ranking military officer, then-Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley, was moving in lockstep with the political anxieties of top Democratic leaders. These Democrats grew anxious as over 140 House Republicans planned to contest the election results during the electoral college certification that day. Milley was then deeply engaged with a circle of confidants including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, former Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice, and former Defense Secretary Robert Gates, among others—all of whom shared a unified disdain for President Donald Trump.” Speaker Pelosi has been caught in her own lies and now we know the Chairman of The Joint Chiefs was conducting in-depth planning to counter the contesting of the election in the Congress. That certainly sounds like obstructing that official proceeding doesn’t it? Hundreds of J6 political prisoners have been charged with that particular felony and many of seditious conspiracy to execute an insurrection on the flimsiest of evidence, much less than what we now know of the Milley and Pelosi effort. The way forward is to hold these people accountable according to the law, a different approach than they have taken against President Trump and his supporters. We must end veteran suicide. That is the mission all of us who seek to help our brothers and sisters have tried to complete for at least two decades. In my final year of active duty, the U.S Army lost nearly one soldier per day to suicide and the first time I heard the phrase 22 a day regarding veteran suicide was within days of my return to civilian life. Since then millions of veterans and those in our communities and government have signed up to that mission, ending it.Unfortunately, despite the hundreds of millions of dollars expended on various programs and millions of work hours, both paid and volunteer, we are not making progress. Sadly, we’re now hearing consistently that nearly 50 veterans are committing suicide a day and experienced observers say its likely more like a hundred. That is a haunting number for those of us who’ve served, our families, and the families of the survivors. We are a country in search of solutions and I will listen to anyone who has studied it, especially a fellow veteran who has also struggled. So my guest today is US Navy veteran D Paul Fleming and the subject is his book: A date With Suicide. A Date with Suicide is a heartfelt attempt to tell the stories of veterans who have struggled at the edges of life and death. According to Reuters the United States and Europe are taking steps to acquire or manufacture bird flu vaccines that could be used to protect at-risk poultry and dairy farmers, veterinarians and lab technicians, government officials said, moves influenza experts say could curb the threat of a pandemic. Interestingly, and this is extremely unlikely, public health officials are warning human exposures to the virus in poultry and dairy operations could increase the risk that the virus will mutate and gain the ability to spread easily in people. And even worse news is that The U.S. is in talks with mRNA vaccine makers Pfizer and Moderna about potential pandemic vaccines. My guest today tells us why. From the mouth of Pfizer's CEO, the Covid business is dead. The pharmaceutical giant has been trying to shore up investor sentiment after its shares fell more than 40% in 2023 once everyone experienced someone they knew dying suddenly, having a heart attack, or contracting cancer. That covid pull back erased more than $100 billion in Pfizer's market value. Making matters worse, about a month ago the NIH released a study that clearly showed that mRNA in Covid Vaccines caused the development of cancer. Which begs the question, so why is Big Pharma pushing for more mRNA Vaccines? We must re-invest in and recreate our industrial capabilities to bring critical manufacturing, such as ship building and the associated workforce, back to our shores. But while we do those things, we must craft a security strategy and posture to be strong enough to deter China, our greatest adversary, and that needs to happen yesterday. My guest today is Elbridge Colby, co-founder and principal of The Marathon Initiative, a policy initiative focused on developing strategies to prepare the United States for an era of sustained great power competition. No, the USS Eisenhower aircraft was not destroyed by the terrorists in Yemen. The reporting appears to be fake news. However, the situation in the Red Sea continues to be hazardous for commercial and military vessels and US vessels were targeted over this weekend. Does Murphy’s law really exist or are Joe Biden’s disastrous decisions resulting in a self-fulfilling bad prophecy? Our government is out of touch with the people! Speaker Mike Johnson handed the democrats everything they ever dreamed of and more. Hakeem Jeffries, a Marxist and the Democrat minority leader in the House of Representatives, brazenly brags on national television that he and his band of communists are now controlling the legislative agenda through the Republican speaker’s office. America is $36 trillion dollars in debt and even with a so-called arch conservative in the Speaker’s seat we are unable to extricate ourselves from the massive financial collapse that will eventually come. When that happens none of the endless war policy, spying on our own citizens without a warrant, or government benefit payouts will matter. I tell you though, that we can still save the country, even now, when many false Republicans have been re-elected to their seats of power in the Congress, we still have opportunities to change things. Every two years, that is the election cycle for the House and for good reason, to enable us to remove bad actors there and the challenge is, do we have the will to get the job done.
