In our country, the lie has become not just moral category, but the pillar industry of this country.” That is Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn speaking about the Soviet Union and yet, its sounds like our government and society these days. The last few years revealed that US government agencies conveniently, lie about, leave out, or obfuscate facts that are embarrassing to their organization or counter to whatever government narrative they challenge. The worst part is that information is intentionally hidden because it is some bureaucrat’s opinion that the American people can’t hear the information as it might get them stirred to act and end whatever policy driving the incident’s concerned or threaten their funding. Well we are acting on the truth and that means we can and will win, whether its the 2024 election or otherwise! I have two guests today. Control, governments and the powerful have sought to control our thinking and what we believe through various means down through the ages. With today’s technology, the term propaganda has been replaced with “the narrative” and January 6th 2021 is the most frightening example of the strength of powerful influence operations that use a combination of effective modern technology, government agencies, and the coordination of the most influential mainstream media outlets. The truth no longer needs facts, just millions of Americans who still believe their government always tells them what they need to know. The good news is that millions of Americans have awakened to this effort and see it for what it is, the government’s attempt to control society and squash individual rights. Israel’s war against Hamas rages on in the far Southern part of Gaza. Calls for a ceasefire continue to be heard loudly, including at the highest levels of the US Government. Recently, Christian leaders were invited to the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., to view the footage from the October 7th massacres. Many of the journalists who’ve already seen the footage have reported they have never seen anything like the horrors they say Hamas fighters displayed for all the world to see. A former foreign service officer and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Energy was one of the Christian leaders who saw the video and his overall conclusion is that Israel cannot possibly be fighting a war of vengeance, it is fighting one of self-defense and the only adequate defense is the total destruction of Hamas. Something is wrong in America. What ails us is a complete lack of trust in our Federal government by average Americans. I’m not talking about the typical American citizen’s inherent mistrust of government, that is healthy in a free society. What I speak of is a situation that even if the government tells us the truth about a serious threat to our national survival, we don’t believe them, and in fact, these days we aggressively push back on them because we refuse to fall prey to the lies such as what happened with the lead up to the war in Iraq, the pandemic, the Russia hoax, illegal spying on us, and censorship. Just this week a supposedly serious national security threat from Russia was leaked by a so-called trusted elected official but the citizen that no longer listens to the false news media or the government refuses to believe it is true. Can you blame us? So this perspective separates us from our government much like the American colonists were from the British government and divides us because there are a few, especially those Americans working in the government, that continue to have faith in what it says. In the declaration of independence our founders chose to actively separate from their government and create a new one. Like me, I think most Americans reject that notion but are actively calling for a re-institution of the constitutional government the founders designed in the Constitution. Our current separation is caused by the government’s power being so great that it does not follow that constitution. What can or should we do? My. Guest today is a man who has taken action to find positive steps toward a resolution. We all know how much our world has changed in the last several years. Covid, the Vaccines, states shutting down, losing jobs, our rights being taken away, our constitution eroding, millions of migrants coming in, and the very fabric of our society being attacked and changed before our very eyes by globalists and politicians. It's pretty much all the news, podcasts, radio shows have focused on. We are at one of the most treacherous times in our history. We are standing at the precipice. Which way will our country go? In a vote of 66-33, The Senate broke the final filibuster on the $95.3 billion Ukraine foreign aid package, the bill that was stripped of US border security funding, setting up final passage as early as Tuesday (today folks). The vote exposes a deep divide within the GOP — with Mitch McConnell among its biggest boosters — and Speaker Johnson threatening to ignore it and siding with Trump. The Rs who voted in favor: Capito, Cassidy, Collins, Ernst, Grassley, Kennedy, McConnell, Moran, Murkowski, Romney, Rounds, Sullivan, Thune, Tillis, Wicker, Young, Cornyn. That’s right, those are the Republican Senators who don’t really care about what you think. In fact, McConnell and Tillis say that you and me, the base of the party, don’t know enough about the issue of Ukraine because we don’t have the intelligence briefings that a US Senator has or we’re just too dim-witted to know what is important. Well, Roger Wicker has earned primary opponents in his bid for re-election coming up on March 12. We had one of them on already this week and today our guest is the other candidate. It seems constant these days and shouldn’t surprise me, America’s elected officials prioritize other nation’s national security over our own at every opportunity. They did it again over the weekend, after failing to pass a border security bill to stop the invasion at our southern border, The U.S. Senate chose to fund Ukraine again, in the face of growing opposition from their voters. Look I’m no isolationist, and am certainly not a pacifist, but I am opposed to starting World War three and only support risking American lives in war to defend our own vital national interests. And as Barack Obama said, Ukraine is not our vital national interest. Many senators have strong opponents this election cycle because of this intransigence, stubborn waste of our resources, and needlessly risking American lives. Roger Wicker of Mississippi is one of those senators and native Mississippian retired Marine Colonel Ghannon Burton is one of his very strong opponents. Truth is hard to find these days. Reporting on gun violence in this country is some of the worst than on any other subject. The media focuses on emotion and questionable statistics, the government focus on its own priorities can obfuscate the truth, and the numbers being reported are often manipulated to fit a left wing narrative. The American people, and especially survivors of the victims of mass shootings deserve the truth, unmolested by political and ideological talking points. Finding the truth is the only way effective approaches to ending these crimes can be developed and up to this point, only falsehoods that lead to ineffective policy proposals seem to get any attention. Without the fact-based truth, sound and effective policies will never be developed or implemented. My guest today is Dr. John R. Lott, Jr., an economist and a world-recognized expert on guns and crime.  During the Trump administration, he served as the Senior Advisor for Research and Statistics in the Office of Justice Programs and then the Office of Legal Policy in the U.S. Department of Justice. he censorship during the election of 2020 heavily impacts the way American voters think about our society, especially in this, another election year. After all, on October first of 2020 Facebook suppressed all identified conservative media website links and pages. I know from personal experience because my own webpage was rocketing to nearly a million views per month after only 4 months in operation largely through my two hundred thousand strong follower audience on that platform. The reality is that after that date, the page has never achieved that level of performance again. The suppression of the facts about our candidates and elevation of false information has become a known factor that the American people should not, and do not accept as legitimate. But they’re doing it again and no one with power seems to be doing anything real about it according to OutKick journalist Bobby Burack. The question is, can we the people overcome the lies and suppression of information and elect who we decide is the best candidate?
