A snippet from Thoughts on Viet Nam:
"We were forced out of the area under pressure and set up a perimeter around the area and spent the night there as artillery pounded the area through- out the night. As a fighterbomber flew over the area at dawn, a sole machine-gunner opened up on it. The rest of the unit, to our surprise, had managed to slip away during the night, under cover of the nipa palms which hung over the river to their back. When we swept through the abandoned camp we found that the dead we had seen there the previous day had been buried by their comrades, despite the massive artillery fire of the night. I kept the flag and turned in the rest of the pack to S-2 when we returned to camp."

Today on the show I sit down with Nashville's finest, Josh Foster. Josh is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for a substance abuse and mental health treatment organization named JourneyPure. He was the front man of Parachute Musical based out of Nashville Tennessee where he has lived since 2007. After years of touring, writing and recording for Parachute Musical and his solo project, Josh found a life of sobriety and the opportunity to give that gift back to his community.
Josh and I get into:
Speaking of those indie country vibe songs that were never released, in this episode, an exclusive listen of two Josh Foster gems - "This Isn’t the End" and "Heart Around Yours".

**UPDATE**
Eric: "After a couple years of working on #seaofstars as the sole member of the audio department, I realized I needed a lifeline to help with the increasingly daunting task of creating audio for a game no less than 4 times bigger than what I did by myself in 2018 with The Messenger. I gave Jake (@olbigleg) a call asking if he’d be interested in helping out, and within a month he’d learned the tools on his own and was ready to jump into the fire. Starting at only one day a week, he moved up to two and then three as production ramped up. Together we’ve created over 19,000 audio assets and collaborated on several tunes currently in game. Over the past 2 months our bands completed our second tour together and at the last show I wanted to get a selfie together while they were on stage playing for 800 people in Los Angeles. Here is that selfie (See @ericborwnovfire). Sea of Stars releases on August 29 on every platform. Play it with the sound on. Follow your dreams."
