TWO OPINIONS: 1 KINGS 18:20-35

How long will you hesitate between two opinions? Are you serving the Lord or the world?

Some people will spend their entire life hesitating between two opinions. This hesitation can cause us to doubt if the Lord is real and lead us to a life of not following the Lord. Some will try to live in both opinions. On Sunday it’s easy to serve the Lord, but what about the rest of the week? What Lord are you serving in your life?

What is wrong with the world today? What is the cause for violence, evil and the wickedness of this world? In the beginning what destroyed that perfectly created world?

In the beginning the world was perfect, but then sin entered the world. In one moment everything become broken. At that moment guilt, shame, humiliation, violence, wickedness and even death entered into the world. Since then we spend most of our time trying to cover up or run away from sin, but on our own we can’t escape it. Sin is a disease that has infected the world, a disease that brings guilt, that brings a curse to the world and it even brings death.

But there is hope, there is a cure!

In the Beginning: Marriage

Why was marriage created? How is marriage being destroyed? Who is destroying it? How can we restore marriage?

In the beginning man needed a suitable helper, so God created women, then He created marriage between a man and women and called it very good! But satan wants to rip marriage down and tear it apart. But today there are many different understandings of what marriage is because Satan has defiled it and wants to break this holy covenant. Satan has used sexuality, adultery, divorce, temptation and much more to defile the marriage bed. It was not intended to be this way and In the beginning, God was clear what marriage is and what it isn’t!
