          • A Very Special Episode

You can’t stop evolution. Sure, you can try not believing in it. But eventually, it will catch up with you. As H.G. Wells once wrote, “adapt or perish.” Brooklyn noise trio A Very Special Episode decided to put their own spin on that with the title of their debut full-length, FIX YOUR HEARTS OR DIE.

              • Vangelism

Vangelism hail from Peterborough, Ontario and I learned about the band when I saw that they were scheduled to play a gig at Our Wicked Lady on October 19th with Castle Black, Nuclear Family Family and shadow monster, three Brooklyn based bands that I have the utmost respect for. Then I listened to their album, Boredom Factory, and I couldn't take it off. It's that good!

                  • Nuclear Family Fantasy

Nuclear Family Fantasy's music is an exploration into the resulting impact of being raised with the illusion that the nuclear family is still the ideal. Their songs convey the struggles with addiction, frustration, and heartbreak that sometimes result from trying to survive in a world that still wants us to believe in the attainability of the American Dream.
