Governor Newsom yesterday signed a bill which changes police lethal force restrictions in California,We discussed what this means with Politico Reporter Jeremy White. This bill resulted from a favorable compromise between law enforcement groups and the ACLU, which was the prime backer of the measure. The main concept of the new law changes the standard for deadly force from reasonable" to "necessary."
