What we’ve learned through a lot of science in the last few years is that, how you practice really does determine how you perform.
In this month, we are discussing deep work for leaving deep tracks. The theme in this second week is ‘Relationship to Practice’.
Are you looking at those deep tracks every day? Have you built your vision board? Or, have you put some kind of narrative up that reminds you of what you’re here to do? And are you giving yourself that rocket fuel injection every day? Have you made it part of your regimen and your ritual?
Pulling all of those elements together requires a strong ‘Relationship to Practice’. Check out this week’s podcast and let’s jump in…

If you’re trying to grow your business, if you’re trying to bring more stability to your work place, whatever your bigger than you task is, how do you do that? What’s the process for it?
This stuff is not easy. There is no quick fix. There’s no formula that’s going to get you there overnight.
It’s an affinity for the grind. It’s doing the deep work necessary to get there.
At the end of the day, you could have the best plan in the world, you could have a great outline of what you’re going to do, but that commitment has to translate.
The work that you did last month, establishing your ‘why’, vision, and purpose, it’s got to translate into rocket fuel.
In this week’s podcast, we focus on turning our ‘why’ into rocket fuel for doing the deep work.

This week we’re going to be talking about commitment, because the fact of the matter is, the enemy is going to put itself between you, and your visions.
This purpose that you’ve established over the last couple of weeks. The enemy is going to place herself squarely between you and your higher purpose.
The enemy will work from the inside. The enemy is an insurgent. Steven Pressfield in his book, “War of Art,” he calls it, “Resistance”. It’s self sabotage.
Let’s talk about how “Commitment” can lead to action… and how action can defeat resistance and lead you to your vision.

The ultimate question we ask ourselves at the end of our life, if we’re lucky, is, “Did I matter? Did I have an impact? Did I play the game I was supposed to play?”
In this week’s vlog, we discuss the importance of ‘Leaving Tracks’…
Thanks for what you do, until next time,
I’ll see you on the Rooftop.
Regardless of the reasons, we’re more disconnected today than we’ve ever been in our history and so moving people to action requires serious leadership skills and understanding your purpose is absolutely essential. What is it about purpose, why is that so important?
Well, the reason is we are humans, the most meaning seeking creatures on the planet. We absolutely crave meaning. We are social creatures, we get by and survive by grouping and relying on each other and so our identity and our sense of purpose or meaning is everything to us. This is universal anywhere in the world.
This week we’re going to be talking about purpose and it’s not always an easy thing to figure out. This is a question I think we never stop asking ourselves but we owe it to ourselves to try to get as much clarity on this as we can. The more clear we are on our purpose the more we’re able to move people to action when it really counts.

Vision – without it, leadership is dead. Without it, movements don’t exist. You can’t bridge the gaps of trust erosion without vision.
