Today’s podcast:
Is there any question any longer than war has in fact broken out between Israel and the Iran-sponsored and defined by Canada as a terrorist organization, Hezbollah?
And is the Canadian government increasingly turning its back on our traditional ally Israel? Israel certainly considers this to be so as Israel's Ambassador to Canada suggested on air with us yesterday.

We will begin to review issues which should take prominence in the upcoming federal election, whenever that may occur between now and next October.
Issue 1: Healthcare for Canadians. The number of Canadians without a family doctor, currently at 6.5 million will swell to 10 million, or 25% of the national population. Meanwhile, seeing a specialist can take a year or longer in Canada and some people are dying undiagnosed. What is the a possible solution? One argument is the introduction of additional private and insurable healthcare for Canadians. That is constantly decried and the doctor who has been at the forefront of the private healthcare for Canadians argument and has seen his arguments set aside by Canadian courts repeatedly is Dr. Brian Day.
Guest: Dr. Brian Day. Founder, Cambie Surgery Centre, Vancouver. Author of My Fight for Canadian Healthcare: A Thirty-Year Battle to Put Patients First. Dr. Day is a past president of the Canadian Medical Association.

Investigators for the Commissioner of Canadian Elections agreed that the Chinese government before and during the 2021 federal election was actively engaged in pushing Chinese Canadian voters to vote against British Columbia (Steveston-Richmond East) MP Kenny Chiu. These actions concluded the investigators .. "According to Chinse Canadian interview subjects, this invoked a widespread fear amongst electors, described as a fear of retributive measures from Chinese authorities should a CPC government be elected. This included the possibility that travel to and from China could be interfered with by Chinese authorities, as well as measures being taken against family members or business interests in Canada." Yet, concluded the Canadian Elections investigators, the actions by China did not break the (Canadian) law and urged the review of China's actions against CPC MP Kenny Chiu be halted. Chiu was elected in 2019 and defeated in 2021.
Guest: Kenny Chiu. Former Conservative Party of Canada Member of Parliament.
