Global News: Calgary police investigate, recommend provincial review of domestic homicide This after a mother and wife was murdered near a Calgary elementary school. Her husband was found dead nearby. Police had been to the family residence several times and had had repeatedly charged the husband who was then released by the courts on a 'no contact' order.

Criminal law professor Doug King says "a restraint order, a no-contact order was placed on him. He violated it twice. And each time he had violated it, he would have been before a judge again to look at his release. I question what was the logic behind releasing him out after his second violation."

Mandate of the RCMP was to investigate obstruction of justice and intimidation of a justice system participant.

  • Mar 3: Elaine Dewar, CSIS report confirms Canadian microbiology lab infiltrated by agent of China

This past Wednesday the federal government released hundreds of pages of documentation concerning the firing and physical removal from Canada's most secure microbiology lab in Winnipeg of scientists Xiangguo Qui and Kedong Cheng. A CSIS report revealed Qui had worked closely and covertly with Chinese government labs and collaborated with "institutions in China whose goals have potentially lethal military applications."

Guest: Elaine Dewar. Investigative journalist and author of 'On The Origin Of The Deadliest Pandemic in 100 Years.' Explains the presence of Qui and Cheng in the Winnipeg lab, as well as what most deadly pathogens the pair was likely were involved in shipping to China.

Dewar substantiates the view the 2021 Canadian federal election was likely called so the federal government could avoid the national embarrassment of publicly releasing the hundreds of pages of documentation Canadians finally saw earlier in the week. A CSIS report further substantiates the issue.

  • Mar 3: Joe Warmington, meeting between Trudeau and Italian PM cancelled due to pro-Palestine protest

Italian PM Meloni and Justin Trudeau scheduled to be at a gala dinner at the Art Gallery of Ontario last evening. A relatively small crowd of pro-Palestine chanting protesters blocked the exits of the AGO and the event was canceled with a notice from the PMO.

G7 leaders event shut down like this in Toronto? Wouldn't this be a time for Toronto police to provide the necessary security, deal with the protesters and assure the event carried on?  - additional protests appear to be forming this afternoon.

Guest: Joe Warmington. Columnist Toronto Sun.
