We're bringing in the new year with a bang - or more accurately, an icy splash! On today's Classic Saturday Rub we've surfaced our coverage of the first Big Freeze slide in 2015, when Garry Lyon, Brian Taylor, Sam Newman and Luke Darcy were amongst the sliders.

James Brayshaw, Spud Frawley, Damian Barrett and Jay Clark were in the commentary box and called all the action as it happened - and in full Triple M Footy style, dished out some best and worst on votes.

Hard Hitting Brian cops some hard hits in response to his line of questioning though, but got a few whacks of his own away - both on the radio and later on the field, as we found out!

In the 2013 finals, the Saturday Rub crew took submissions from the family asking for nominations for the inaugural All Triple M Team - until Gaz took over and more or less picked the team himself.

The team wasn't picked on form, more about which players went about the Triple M way, were grouse to watch, or were just plain funny.

In June 2015, Spud Frawley and Luke Darcy accused James Brayshaw of one of the most grave transgressions that could possibly be committed by a Triple M Footy caller - being caught on the green stuff. To make matters worse, there were further allegations levelled of being seen amongst the inner sanctum after a North Melbourne win.
