Our final episode of Tales Trees Tell, the Goat Pimps come face to face with the dank elves of Greenhall. Jacey wins them over, obviously, and then they head off to the cottage of the infamous Jenny Greenteeth. After a hearty meal, the conclusion to this mod is finally settled.
This episode's shout out goes to the Magic and Steele Podcast, a family run game following their homebrew. Find them on Twitter @EmpireSteele, on Facebook under Steele Empire, and on their website www.magicandsteele.com.
Right away we realize Luke lied to us all when he promise more a more social episode. The return of Spots, Stripes, and Skins wrecks the Goat Pimps to the point of DM Dylan showing mercy to them via an unexpected NPC. The value of Halflings prevails once again, along side of further evidence to who the MVP of this group is. Luke also lies a separate time in regards to some Dresden Files lore, butchering the word "Naagloshii" early in the episode.
Our mid-episode break includes a clip from our new pals on the Law & Disorder podcast a weekly D&D 5e podcast featuring players on the @thatisnotcanon netword of podcasts. You can find them @law_disorderTNC run by their DM @zanecweber.
The Goat Pimp continue their way through the Quivering Forest, and surprisingly there are a lot of things that want to kill them there. Also, how lazy will Luke be in writing a description of this episode due to his food poisoning???
Be sure to check out our friends on the DnD RAW Podcast, @rulesAsWritten on Twitter. Their promo clip is front and center in the episode, so give them a listen!
Also, another link to the Alignment Unclear Podcast, @Alignedunclear on Twitter, as I mentioned Josh's work again in the episode.
Our journey through DDEX 1-8 pushes onward, as the Goat Pimps get about 15 total feet through the Quivering Forest. Along the way, they meet a disgruntled elf, who is apparently hated by scarecrows and trees. Will Jybbeenk's unprecedented hatred for Jacey prove to the be party's downfall? I mean, if not today, it probably will at some point, as this seems to be a reoccurring theme with pretty much everyone!
A special shout out to my friends Josh and Patrick from the Alignment Unclear Podcast (@Alignedunclear) and The Dungeon Rats podcast (@TheDungeonRats) respectively. We have some fun one -shot campaign stuff in the works, so get hyped for that!
