Philippe Garrel’s THE SALT OF TEARS has departed the festival circuit and is now playing in virtual cinemas, so we took this opportunity to welcome back film writer and curator Jordan Cronk to talk the new release as well as look back at his history and some of his recent work. JEALOUSY, IN THE SHADOW OF WOMEN, and LOVER FOR A DAY, as well as his son Louis’ A FAITHFUL MAN are all touched on as we look at his style, his approach to character, and what an audience’s expectations are for these movies.
