I was joined by my Twitter friend @TheEMart to talk about the Sixers embarrassing loss in Ben Simmons "return" to Philadelphia. We discussed the atmosphere around the city and the game and how it might have distracted everyone from the task at hand. We then went in depth on Harden's first bad game with the Sixers and talked about why it isn't the end of the world but still is somewhat concerning due to his spotty track record in some big games. Other topics included the Sixers defensive issues against jump shooting teams like the Nets, why they are still in a good position despite one game, the team coming out flat in big games during Doc Rivers era, and why this wake up call might be necessary before the playoffs. We finished off the episode talking about which teams the Sixers could face in the first and second round, a new playoff format that could create some added drama and E-Mart gave us his master plan to fix the NBA.
