The Sandler Pit

In this episode, we're digging into Adam Sandler's Netflix comedy special; Adam Sandler: 100% Fresh!

Listen to find out whether we thought Sandler deserved a standing ovation worthy of The Sandler Castle, or will his jokes result in him being booed off stage into The Sandler Pit! Also, we have an update in the t-shirt saga which started back in October...

It's another birthday special!

In this episode, we're watching and reviewing Grown Ups 2, however to make it special we're putting a twist on the formula for Luke Terry's 26th birthday. Instead of playing our usual 'Sandler Scale' bingo game, we've decided to make this feel more like a party with the addition of some alcohol. But will our tipsy little minds decide to put Grown Ups 2 in the Sandler Castle or the Sandler Pit?

We apologise in advance if this episode doesn't make much sense.

This week, we're faking our death for another shot at life.

Just kidding, we're actually just going to watch Adam Sandler and David Spade do that in the Netflix original action comedy film, 'The Do-Over'. Join us as we watch a film with a twist even bigger than that time when Christopher Walken turned out to be the angel of death in Click...

Will this movie shoot and backflip its way into The Sandler Castle, or will it fail at life again and end up in The Sandler Pit?

In this episode of The Sandler Pit, we're digging into The Meyerowitz Stories, a comedy drama film directed by Noah Baumbach which explores the lives of the titular family. The film stars Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and Dustin Hoffman among others, and is a little less crazy than some of our usual fare!

But will The Meyerowitz Stories continue to play happy families and enjoy a lifetime in The Sandler Castle, or will it have so many arguments that it decides to move out of the family home and into The Sandler Pit?

Keep listening at the end of the episode for some breaking news regarding awards nominations!!

Grab yourself a glass of high quality H2O and get ready for some fun!

This week we're watching and reviewing Adam Sandler's sports comedy 'The Waterboy', in which he plays Bobby Boucher, a sheltered guy who finds out he has a hidden talent for tackling. He goes against his mama's wishes and becomes a sports star with some hilarious consequences!

But will The Waterboy tackle his way into The Sandler Castle, or will he get booted into The Sandler Pit?

Press X to Begin!

This week, we're watching the action comedy film 'Pixels', in which Adam Sandler and friends take on an alien invasion involving some iconic video-game characters.

Will 'Pixels' achieve a high score worthy of a place in The Sandler Castle, or will it get a game over and be sent to The Sandler Pit?

Time for a bit of a change!

In the last few weeks we've seen Adam Sandler in a comedy western and Rob Schneider switching bodies with Rachel McAdams, so we thought the next logical step would be to watch and discuss 'Reign Over Me'. The film stars Sandler as Charlie Fineman, a grieving widower that lost his family in the 9/11 terror attacks. Charlie regresses and turns reclusive until bumping into an old friend played by Don Cheadle and the two become unlikely friends!

Will 'Reign Over Me' manage to process grief and move on into the Sandler Castle, or will it shut itself off from society and remain in The Sandler Pit?

In this episode of The Sandler Pit, we have accidentally switched bodies and in order to get things back to normal we have to watch and review a Rob Schneider led body swap comedy film called 'The Hot Chick'. Schneider plays a criminal lowlife that accidentally switches bodies with Jessica, a popular high school girl played by Rachel McAdams.

Will 'The Hot Chick' get her body back and cheerlead her way into The Sandler Castle, or will she have to live out her days in the hairy little body of Rob Schneider until she gets buried and forgotten in The Sandler Pit?

Giddy up boys, let's ride our horses to the Ol' West!

This week we're digging into the cowboy comedy film 'The Ridiculous Six', in which Adam Sandler plays 'White Knife', a gunslinger who sets out on a rescue mission and discovers he has 5 half-brothers along the way. But will the film yee-haw its way into The Sandler Castle where it'll become a legend of the Old West, or will it get arrested by the sheriff and locked up in The Sandler Pit?

Love is in the air!

It's the most romantic time of the year, so this week to celebrate Valentine's Day we're digging into the Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore rom-com 'Blended'. The pair reunite for a film in which their two separate families are forced to 'blend' while on an exciting holiday to Africa... But will the film go on an all-inclusive holiday to The Sandler Castle, or will it get hunted by lions and end up in The Sandler Pit?
