Ari in Philadelphia joins Dave to recap a dominant performance by the Red Sox over the Dodgers in a five game series win.  The Red Sox get outstanding performances by David Price, Nathan Eovaldi, and a bunch of unsung heroes at the plate to overpower the Dodgers.  The Dodgers battled in every game, but we look at how bad clutch hitting, horrible in game management, and other disappointments undermined their bid for their first championship since 1988.

Later we look at what's to come for both franchises.  A look at impending free agents on either side, plus Dave runs down why the Dodgers are closer to that elusive championship than everybody thinks.  The guys debunk the narrative of the Red Sox human/savvy instinct, a look at the Mets new unorthodox pick for GM, where it went wrong for Dave Roberts, Kershaw's future, and other news from baseball.

John, Andy, Dave, and Guest Picker Mike in North NJ join Dave to recap yet another wild football weekend, and the record breaking night for Drew Brees a week earlier.   Brees breaks the record for career passing yards on Monday Night football.  Andy in Seattle reflects on a great career for Brees in the NFL.   We also look at some big upsets in College Football including LSU over Georgia and Oregon over Washington.   Also, a look at the NFL's wacky weekend plus previews of this weekend's action and the Week 8 Football Picks.

Chris in GA joins Dave for our complete preview of the NBA in the 2018-19 Season.   Following a brief Football Picks contest update, Dave and Chris break down each of the NBA's divisions and predict the top four seeds in the Eastern Conference, and the top four in the Western Conference.  Later, we select our favorite overs/unders for the season, and we close out with some bonus MLB postseason talk.
