On a bonus MLB ALCS/NLCS preview podcast, Gerry and Dave look at a series of questionable decisions by managers during the Division Series round, including the much talked about Dusty Baker removal of Max Scherzer during Game 3 of the Nationals/Cubs DS.  We also look at a fairly convincing sweep by the Dodgers over the Diamondbacks, the Astros' advance to the ALCS, and the two series in progress including the suddenly reeling Indians hosting a Game 5 to the Yankees after blowing a 2-0 series lead.  What's next for the new renaissance of Yankees Baseball?

Ari in Philadelphia and Gerry in Piscataway return for the MLB Postseason Preview!  We look at this year's broadcast teams including two very intriguing adds for the FS1 studio desk: David Ortiz and Keith Hernandez.  On the field, we check out a most competive NL playoff field with the Nationals, Dodgers, Cubs, and Diamondbacks all very capable of winning the World Series.  In the AL, we look at numerous upstart teams including the new look Red Sox and Yankees, the Astros, and the red-hot Indians.  Which teams will make the fall classic?  We predict each of the division series and the pennant winners for the 2017 Postseason.

James, "the Real Grande" joins the panel as guest picker for Week 5 of Football Picks.  We'll look at a very wild week in college football which had one top ten upset of Oklahoma State, and three other near-top-ten-upsets.   What made USC so shaky at Cal?  Is Penn State's survival at Iowa City a good building block?  How did woebegone Baylor suddenly catch up to Oklahoma in the second half, only to come short?  In the NFL we look at a long running classic: Steelers vs Ravens.  How will both teams rebound from embarrassing losses to bad teams last week?  Then our picks, college picks and pro.  Ron, John, Dave, and James deliver picks on air, while Andy sends the picks via text.

Lou in Hoboken joins the panel as guest picker while we look at a relatively mundane week in both college and pro football.   TCU at Oklahoma State may well be the biggest game, and there's some important Pac 12 jostling between Washington and Colorado.   In the NFL, we recap another slow start to the season plus this week's action, including the annual London game.  Is the AFC West the best division with hot starts from the Chiefs, Raiders, and Broncos?  The panel makes the picks for College Week 4 and NFL Week 3.

Mike in North NJ joins the panel as guest picker as we recap more exciting action from College Football, then look ahead to College Football Week 3, then a preview of Packers/Falcons in the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.   The Football Picks contest moves into Week 3 with John sending picks via text and Andy, Ron, and Mike scheduled on air.

John, Andy, and Dave break down all the Week 2 College Showdowns with guest picker Dave in Queens.  Ron sends his picks via the text, and in the meanwhile, the panel looks at OU/OSU, STAN/USC, and other college action.  Later we segue to NFL Kickoff week where we make predictions for the season.

We start a new season of FOOTBALL PICKS in the City with our longtime panel of Andy in Seattle, John in CT, Ron in NJ, Dave in the City, and a series of guest pickers.  This week, we have Chris in Georgia for guest picks as we look at several big games.  It starts with Ohio State against Indiana, then we'll look at Colorado State/Colorado, Michigan/Florida, West Virginia/Virginia Tech, and the big game of the week: Florida State vs Alabama.   The panel then reveals each of their two college football picks for the contest, and we add some other college topics to close the show.

John in CT and Ron in NJ join Dave for another big College Football preview show.  This year we look at another batch of new coaches in big places.  Tom Herman climbs the mountain to Texas head coach while Lincoln Riley gets promoted to head coach at Oklahoma.   We follow up last year's hot head coaches such as Kirby Smart at Georgia and Justin Fuente at Virginia Tech.  Later we cover all of the big conferences in FBS including our College Football Playoff predictions and our annual Heisman Watch.  We'll see if Alabama can continue to be the team to beat, and whether the Pac 12 contenders like Washington and USC can make a statement in the New Year's Six.  Is Ohio State the class of the Big Ten with numerous returning starters?  We also add the "Coach Hot Seat Tracker" to this year's preview.  That and many other storylines from the NCAA and FBS on this special program.
