John and Mike join Dave for the final August-based PGA Championship recap for the forseeable future.   We'll cover how Justin Thomas outshot a whole group of contenders in the final round for an exciting major win.  Later we discus the changes to the PGA Tour Schedule which includes moving the PGA Championship to May next year and other big golf news.

Ari and Gerry join Dave for part two of our Trade Deadline recap.  This time we look at the monster deals that brought Yu Darvish to the Dodgers, Sonny Gray to the Yankees, and both Alex Avila and Justin wilson to the Cubs.  Which teams smoked it and which ones whiffed?   Dave, Gerry and Ari break down all the moves at the deadline, plus our predictions for the AL and NL playoff berth races.

Ari in Philadelphia and Gerry in Piscataway join Dave once again to look at the MLB Trade Deadline.  Who should buy and who should sell?   Did the Diamondbacks land a game-changer with J.D. Martinez?   Will Jaime Garcia be the piece the Twins need to make the playoffs?  Are the Royals over confident in trading for Trevor Cahill?   What's to come for contending teams like the Dodgers and Astros?   Did the Nationals finally get the bullpen help they needed by trading for Madson and Dolittle?  That and much more as we go into the second half of the baseball season.

John in CT and Mike in North NJ re-join Dave to break down Jordan Spieth's thrilling Open Championship win at Royal Birkdale.  We'll cover the exciting final round duel with Matt Kuchar, and a very unusual 13th hold for Jordan who hit a ball well out of play, but somehow in bounds.   Later we'll cover the usual surprises and disappointments, comment on why the future of golf is in good hands, and look ahead to the PGA Championship and other events.

Gerry and Ari re-join Dave for our MLB All Star Recap show.   We'll look at Aaron Judge's outstanding performance in the Home Run Derby, then a few thoughts on the Celebrity Softball game, and recap a very mundane 2017 All Star Game from Miami.   Afterward, we bring our First Half Recap/Second Half MLB Predictions show.  Who were the big winners and losers of the first half?  Will anyone make a run during the "dog days of sumer?"   What's to come for the trade deadline across baseball?   We'll see if the Astros, Dodgers, Brewers, Red Sox, Royals, and others are the real deal.

John and Mike join Dave to break down a tremendous U.S. Open performance by Brooks Koepka in what was a very competitive tournament until the final 9 holes.   We'll look at some other big moments from Justin Thomas, Brian Harman, Hideki Matsuyama, Tommy Fleetwood, and others.  Plus a peek at some big disappointments like Rickie Fowler who was just a bit short, and three others, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, and Rory McIlroy, who missed the cut altogether.  Then we peek ahead to the Open Championship across the pond and other golf events down the road.

Ron in NJ joins Dave to preview the 2017 NFL Draft in Philadelphia.  We look at the newly selected venue at the Ben Franklin Parkway, plus a look at the top prospects this year.  Later we offer our annual NFL Mock Draft for the top half of the first round.

Mike and John return for the 2017 Masters Recap show, where Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia go toe to two for the final two rounds, ending in a dramatic playoff where Sergio finally gets his coveted major championship.  Both John and Mike break down a most exciting tournament that featured as many as four players tied for the lead, and even a run by Charley Hoffman for the lead.  We look at Rickie Fowler's bid for the Masters crown, plus we wonder what might have been for Dustin Johnson after pulling out of the tournament following a back injury he suffered that week.

Ari in Philadelphia and Gerry in Piscataway join Dave to preview the 2017 MLB Season.  We look at the top storylines of the year including the World Baseball Classic, big pitcher contracts, big injuries on big teams, and a chance for the Chicago Cubs to repeat.   Who will be the contenders in 2017?  Will the Indians bounce back after heartbreak in the World Series.  Are the Astros ready to roar back with new veteran help?  Can the Mets make the season healthier with a bulked up Yoenis Cespedes?   Can Kershaw get another Cy Young?   How will the Nationals assemble a bullpen?  All these questions to be discussed, plus our division predictions, Cy Young award picks, MVP picks, and Rookie of the Year picks.

Chris in Syracuse and Dave cover the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Preview.  We'll look at all the regions and check out the favorites.  Will Villanova, Kansas, Duke, North Carolina, or Arizona win it all or will another team rise from the weeds and take the crown?   We'll also share our sleeper teams and upset predictions.
