Dave in Queens joins us for Football Picks Week 9 as we look at several upsets in football last week.  Ohio State gets upset by Penn State on Saturday night, while the Vikings in the NFL embarrass themselves off a bye week in Philadelphia.  Later we cover the Atlanta Falcons as they faced back to back losses going into this week's showdown against the Packers.  We also cover the World Series in progress between the Cubs and the Indians, then our picks as Dave tries to extend a solid year of picks by the guest pickers.   Ron in NJ sends his picks via text this week.

Robert in VA joins the panel as guest picker for FOOTBALL PICKS Week 8.  We cover a surprisingly close Ohio State/Wisconsin showdown, Notre Dame's continued woes, big injuries in the NFL including LeSean McCoy and Ben Roethlisberger, and MLB's Postseason so far including a dramatic five game series between the Dodgers and Nationals plus the red-hot Cleveland Indians against the Blue Jays.  Then picks for Week 8 from College and the NFL and a preview of Texas A&M vs Alabama.

It's our Postseason preview featuring a special 3 minute tribute to Vin Scully to lead off the podcast.  Ari in Philadelphia and Gerry in Piscataway join Dave to preview the NL and AL postseason series for 2016 in MLB.  Will the Cubs still be the team to beat?  Why are the Rangers a potential red herring in the AL playoffs?   PLUS: Buck Showalter's idiotic decision to leave standout reliever Zach Britton in the pen without even warming him up.  Why did he cost his team a win by leaving out his best relief pitcher?   We follow the entire late innings decision in real time as we follow along with the AL Wild Card Game between the Orioles and Blue Jays.

John in Stamford joins the panel as this week's guest picker on "FOOTBALL PICKS".  This week we also look at MLB storylines including the tragic death of Jose Fernandez, Vin Scully's last home game, and the Wild Card races.  Then we preview Louisville vs Clemson, take a look at the trendy NFL teams so far, then give our week 5 picks.
