What's up guys! Welcome back to the show. Thank you for all of the support for the show, instagram page, and October Collection! I'm excited to see you all wearing your Christ is King gear.
In the Marine Corps, I was told the biggest lie I've ever been told: don't stand out. This was horrible advice and not what I would share with anyone else in my life. Stand out! Be different. Be a leader! Especially, share God with others around you. Let me know how you shared God this week. Can't wait to hear what you guys get into.

Today I give some personal updates on family, fitness, and the store. I also go over some thoughts from my bible study in the book of Romans. How do churches see each other? How does the world view all Christians?
Get out there and show God's love! You Are Saved Through Christ!

Welcome back to another episode of the show! Today, its just me vibin'. After an exciting week (new furnace, bats in the attic?, children with colds, month end at work), I wanted to share with you guys a verse from Philippians that is top of mind for me. Lean on god when things get tough! Praise him and know he will provide.
Setting up guests for the next few months. Can't wait to see how God works through the show!

Welcome back to another episode of the show!
Today, I sit down with an old friend from my Marine Corps days, Eric Spector. He works in real estate by day, but by night Eric operates a kettlebell/fitness page on Instagram. In addition to doing the workouts he puts out, I have been inspired by his message. His mantra is "Habits over motivation. Systems over goals. Go touch some grass". We go over the thought behind the mantra and much more in this episode. In the end Eric and I both agreed that focusing on one thing (a hobby for instance) within your sphere of influence, is a great thing. You can better yourself and that might change the world. I hope you enjoy!

You are saved through Christ!
Welcome back to another episode of the show! Thank you for listening.
Took a week off from the show as a brother from the Marine Corps was staying with my family and I. Great times, great food, and a few libations were shared. After he left, I was thinking all week about how fellowship and camaraderie are so important in our lives. We need people. We are designed to break bread with others. We cannot stand alone. We are not meant to.
As you are on your journey pursuing a relationship with God, know that you are not supposed to walk it alone. We are meant to sharpen each other as iron sharpens iron. So...
Stop going to Zoom church. Join a bible study or community group. Get out and be around your brothers and sisters in Christ. We (and the world as a whole) will all be better for it.

Another solo episode today! This week I had the quote, "The journey of one thousand miles begins with a single step" stuck in my head. What does this mean for me in my efforts daily? What could this mean for you in your life?
I go over my marathon adventure from 2019 in greater detail than ever before in order to illustrate my thoughts on this journey. Setting goals and executing them seems to be a theme for me lately. I hope you are getting something out of these episodes with this focus. I certainly do!
Take the first step this week towards what is on your heart. Maybe start your own marathon training! Start your own business! Start a diet! Take classes! Do the thing that is on your mind and on your heart.
But also, take steps in your spiritual journey with God too. Sign up for a bible study, get involved by volunteering at your church, start reading scripture daily, etc. This life is a marathon, and we have to take steps to be better, to walk closer to God.
Thank you for all of the support! Please, share the show with those around you! Check out our new shirts this week and the giveaway!
You are saved through Christ!
Recently, Sam Harris was in the news concerning his comments on the 2020 election. Twitter, the media, etc was all abuzz about it. I got lost in it myself for a few minutes. Easily distracted by the political game has been a downfall and failing of my own in the past few years.
Over time, I have learned that politics (or sports or video games) (insert frivolous activity here) are all a distraction. We are meant for more. We need to leave these things behind and focus on them less. Focus more on things above, things that matter. Pursuing a meaningful relationship with Christ is that aim.
We will miss the mark, sure, but this pursuit will be the best thing we can do daily. Leave all of these distractions behind. Honor God.
Thanks for all of the support lately! Please, share the show with those around you to support us. Additionally, you can check out thesaved.store to get some of our merchandise!
God bless you! You are saved through Christ!
This week is an episode I have been looking forward to for years. I welcome my brother Tyler Kluver to the show. For many years, he has been who I think of when I read in Proverbs 27:17 "as Iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." We have trained together and broken bread a lot over the past few years. I have learned a lot from him, and I think you will too. He is a high achiever in whatever he pursues, and my intention with this episode was to see what insight we can gleam:
What is the mindset of a high achiever? Are you always motivated? What is that initial feeling that puts someone on the path towards seeking out a higher goal? How can you aim at a goal and miss small? How do you win the day?
To sin is to miss the mark. We all do this (Romans 3:23). We need to improve our aim. What are we aiming at? What is that mark? Answer: the holy righteous perfection of God. It is an unattainable goal. We will never be perfect, but we must strive to live better. To live closer to the example set by Christ on this earth. Let's miss the mark less this week.
Thank you all for your support. The growth of this show is fantastic to see, and its all because of you reading this. If we can share God's light to just one more person together with this effort, it is a win in my book. I'll be cycling out some of the merchandise at the end of the month. God bless you. You are saved through Christ.
Sunday again with another new episode! We hit 30 episodes today. Thank you all for listening!
Today, I try to transform an overwhelming feeling into a coherent thought. I think we get close. As I look at my children, I am overcome with joy. In this episode, I both share how wonderful these gifts from God are as well as acknowledging my duty to them. As their father, I will shepherd and guide them towards becoming followers of God: living virtuously, honoring God, and praising His name. I intend for them to reject vice and embrace virtue, to follow the narrow path, and the chase a relationship with Christ. This is the goal of all parents. Hopefully, you and yours are honoring this duty you've been blessed with.
God bless you! Remember Him when you head into work this week. You are saved through Christ.
If you want to support the show, please share it on social media with those around you. Lots of growth lately, and I appreciate every one of you! Additionally, you can check out our store at thesaved.store. I'll be shuffling the available merchandise soon, so grab it while you can! New designs are fantastic, and I can't wait to share them with you.
