This year's double header for Ninja Christmas continues with the final live action film in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trilogy from the 1990's: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3."

Will this film prove to be the proper adaptation of the Mirage Comics that some fans were expecting from the third offering? Listen as your Say Reporters attempt to find out!

Henry Selick's Nightmare Before Christmas  celebrates its Thirtieth Birthday in 2023 and Devon and Sejohn are more than happy to use the festivities as an excuse to look at how the House of Mouse has changed and stayed the same in the years since its release.

Plus we explore how this little stop motion animation that could was able to carve out its own place of the cultural landscape.

Ninja Christmas 2023 kicks off with the Say Reporters celebrating the 30th anniversary of New Line Cinema's "Surf Ninjas." Will this ninja odyssey hold  up against the memories of a child  or have standards changed over these past three decades.

This episode sees your host companions discussing the Game Awards and how they represent the ever changing landscape of Video Games as an industry. Then staying on topic we discuss our recent plays of Doom (2016), Claymates, and the confirmation that there is a stranger among us in the world of Vampire Survivors.

Finally, we share the holiday movies we have been watching lately and an update on how the rest of our holiday season has been scheduled regarding episode topics and release dates.

This episode begins with a discussion about the digitization of the band KISS and how it differs and reflects the reasons why SAG-AFTRA was on strike earlier this year. 

Then after a brief exploration of “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” we give some final thoughts on the remake of “Super Mario RPG” for the Nintendo Switch and compare it as best we can to “Super Mario Bros. Wonder” in terms of which we have fonder memories for and will be continuing to play and one day going back to in the future. 

Finally Devon shares his thoughts on “Spider-Man 2” for the Playstation 5 and why he won’t be rushing back to play through the sequel to Sony’s 2018 offering anytime soon. 

We celebrate to return of movies as a topic for our Very Special episodes by dipping back into the 2003 well of Ben and Jen films that also pulls double duty by being one of the original Marvel films from that time... that's right this episode we are talking about "Daredevil"

Will your host companions be able to find a common ground somewhere in the middle based upon their feelings about this exceedingly strange romantic adaptations of one of the greatest romances to ever be featured in the medium of comic books or will the concessions made on the part of the adapters prove to great to rise above?

This episode of The Say Report we can talk about movies and TV again and we kick off the first hour or so sharing some of the topics from the list we made over the 118 days when we couldn’t discuss struck work. 

Then we finish things up with a discussion about the complete package that is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, now that the final wave of DLC has released and how the new courses were perceived and received by both Devon and Sejohn and what we hope for from the franchise going forward. 

Finally we share our tasks for next episode which include coming to the table with three songs each to compile our Thanksgiving playlist for 2023 and holiday themed shorts to help celebrate the season.
