This week’s episode of The Say Report has Devon and Sejohn trying to confirm that anything and everything in our world after something incredible improbably was proven to be true. 

Then we move onto a continuation of our discussion on the song Timothy by The Buoys when we discover that it was written by Rupert Holmes of “Escape (The Pina Colada Song)” fame. 

From there Devon tries this years What the Fanta Flavor before sharing his experience with WarioWare: Move It, including a brief history of the twenty year old series thus far.

This week’s episode of The Say Report sees your hot companions dive into the latest from Hollywood regarding the SAG-AFTRA strike as it passes its 100th day. 

Then we examine the long strange history of Sonic the Hedgehog video games and how the character never really had a strong enough foundation to define what is necessary to make a game feel like a proper odyssey of the franchise

Finally we share our initial thoughts on Super Mario Bros. Wonder and what we love about the latest entry into the plumber’s long lasting franchise and some of the issues that we have each discovered on our adventures.  

As we approach the ides of October, we find our Say Reporters complaining about their experiences with Cellular Phone companies and Brick and Mortar retail stores.

Then Devon completes his task by explaining exactly what Mystery Flesh Pit National Park is it and why you the listen should care about it, even if he found it difficult to fully commit to the subject matter. 

Finally Sejohn and Devon share their experiences taste testing the latest Flavor Sensation sweeping Soda Nation and Social Media… Buffalo Pepsi and its cola wars counterpart Buffalo Coke.

This week’s episode starts with a reveal of the official flavor of VooDEW 5. 

Next Devon questions why someone would quit the job they had just been on strike from after management gave into their demands and Sejohn is able to provide a beautiful summation that hopefully can teach everyone the grander importance of being in a union.

After that Devon explains why it was a mistake to seek out and play the, currently in-store only, demo of Super Mario Bros. Wonder as all it did was make the waiting even harder than it was before. 

Then your hosts reveal each of their three spooky songs three to address Devon’s challenge from last week and the surprise may surprise and terrify you. 

Finally, Sejohn shares the history of the Alone in the Dark video game franchise, before Devon shares how much he absolutely adored playing through the fourth game in the series Gameboy Color port over the past week.

It is the Three Hundred Fiftieth episode of The Say Report and the first after the end of the 2023 WGA strike. We take the time to discuss what will happen now that the Writer’s are back at work, examine some of the loses they suffered after being on strike for so long, and discuss what this will mean for the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike and the industry of entertainment going forward. 

Then we each were able to complete Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island and take the time to discuss our experiences and why it took your Host Companions so long to finally roll credits on this incredibly inventive entry into the Mario Franchise

Finally we turn our attention to solving the mystery of the fifth year of Mtn Dew VooDew and the grander mystery of the emergence of the mystery flavor trend that seems to have taken a hold of the spooky season that is October. 

This month’s very special episode releases just as Mr. Brightside by the Killers celebrates its 20th Anniversary which has Devon and Sejohn looking back to share their memories and experiences with the song.

This week’s food themed episode of the Say Report begins with Devon sharing his itchy, tasty, and sleep deprivation inducing experience with the new Resident Evil 3 Remake DLC: Separate Ways, an exploration of the series in these modern times, and attempts to quell the debate regarding the ten dollar price tag to tackle the story of Ada Wong.

Then Sejohn and Devon put on their review bonnets to rate and review the latest offering from Wendy’s: The Pumpkin Spice Frosty, and in the process share their personal history related to limited edition fast food offerings and the grander epic that is the ongoing Pumpkin Spice Wars.

Finally Sejohn prepares an Apple Cider Chicken for you, while Devon shares his Bachelor Chef recipes of Chicken and Waffle Sandwiches and his take on Mac & Cheese + Hot Dogs.

Fueled by the Taco Bell dish we worship here at the Say Report, we embark on a journey exploring the special edition fast food stuffs that are available each Autumn and share our trials and tribulations in trying to acquire them for this week. 

Then we take a glimpse as the strange week relating to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes and what happened when a few different talk show hosts decided to bring back their programs. 

From there Devon admits he was unable to resist the siren song of the premium edition of “Mortal Kombat 1” when he found a physical copy on the store shelves this past week and then provides a review of his time with the game and the story content within. 

Finally we come to Sejohn’s task to find him spooky games to play for October and dive deep into the world of the mascot horror genre that he has been exploring through his time with “My Friendly Neighborhood.”
