After sharing some of our meatball mistakes and briefly addressing SAG-AFTRA going on strike along with the WGA, we present without any further ado our spoiler filled, no holds barred, final review of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. 

This week’s episode is just what it says on the tin as the first hour or so is dedicated to Sejohn’s desire to finally immerse himself in the world of Street Fighter with Capcom’s latest release “Street Fighter 6” and how preexisting relationships with the series impacted and influenced Devon’s time spend with the world tour mode after borrowing a copy of the game from a friend.

After that we turn our attention to the information released this week about the box office failures of both Indiana Jones and The Flash and take the time to briefly estimate what might happen going forward with the July releases of Mission Impossible 7,  Oppenheimer, and Barbie.

This Say Report starts in a bit of a weird place because one of your host companions is also in a weird place. Luckily shining the light on some of the darker things that happened over the last week is enough to stave off a discussion on their feelings and more importantly a full on Melissa Etheridge Karaoke meltdown. 

Bonus after discussing all of those depressing things like the degenerative state of the world and the current happenings in the industry on entertainment both Say Reporters have exciting developments in their personal video gaming experiences to share which ends up being a nice place to end things.

In this “super-sized” episode of The Say Report we touch on the continuing developments from the ongoing writer’s strike, the exciting news that Nintendo shared with us regarding the release of future Mario games, Disney’s poorly timed use of AI generated artwork, and celebrate Grimace’s birthday!

After watching “Anger Management” for our other podcast (The Adam Sandler Cinematic Universe). Devon became obsessed with solving the mystery of screenwriter David Dorfman and in this Time Capsule episode of The Say Report that is exactly what your host-companions set out to do... DaVinci Code style. 

This week’s episode we need to talk about some serious things that are happening in both the virtual world of the Internet that we as podcasters and content creators occupy but also the real world as we are seeing some of the real world complications the Canadian wildfires are having on the East Coast.

Its not all gloom and doom though, once we get through as a method of cleansing our palates we jump into a discussion about the ways we’ve been interacting with and enjoying “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom”

This episode we cover those events that occured in May 2023 while we were busy celebrating Brendan Fraser which primarily includes the Writers Strike and the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. 

It’s a lovely return to form for Devon and Sejohn and from your Say Reporters while it might not all be good news it certainly feels good to be back to the usual discussions about everything!

We could think of no better way to end 2023’s celebration of Brendan Fraser History Month than with an examination of some recent history and his Oscar winning turn in “The Whale”

Along the way we discuss our relationships to the stageplay the film is based on, director Darren Aronofsky’s earlier works, and our own feelings about some of the controversies that have been surround the film and its content.

This month things get very special while we’re celebrating the 30th anniversary of a film that has undeniably had a lasting effect on the medium of cinema… Richard Linklater’s “Dazed and Confused” 

Whether that means your host companions think that the film should be revered or reviled is a whole other story and a mystery we hope to be able to solve by the end of the episode.
