Making good on our Say Report Promise from last week we address the AI Generated Song in the room from our Bedazzled episode and share our thoughts about the practical usage and application of Artificial Intelligence as the paradigm of its existence in our world continues to shift. 

Then Devon shares his thoughts about the new live-action remake of “Lilo & Stitch” and whether of not the hot takes that seems to be surviving on the internet are examples of inflammatory statements to gain exposure or a deeper revelation related to the level of media literacy in the country. Devon also uses the latest Disney adaptation as a way to finally get five minutes about the live-action “Snow White” remake off of his chest.

Finally we wrap up the episode with a discussion about the Switch 2 and how some of the choices related to the release of this new hotness from Nintendo has the Say Reporters scratching their heads and asking the big question of: Why?

In the interim between recordings, the world lost George Wendt, and we start off this episode by honoring the man and what he meant to your Say Reporters by celebrating those parts of his career that have not only touched our lives but transcended to become the bedrock of the people we are.

After that, Sejohn takes a brief moment to share with the group some of the particulars about his visit to Los Angeles that led to us to having an approved absence episode last. 

Then Devon, despite trying to get out has been pulled back into the world of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate after its release on the PS4 and PS5, and both of your hosts have some interesting things to share after the extensive testing they have put the latest version of the game through. 

Finally, we tease the multitude of things that will be discussed in our next episode as we prepare to catchup on all the non-Brendan Fraser fun that was had in May 2025 that was sadly preempted by Mr. Wendt’s unexpected passing.

As another Brendan Fraser History Month comes to a close we dedicate this year’s finale to an episode long discussion about the Harold Ramis directed “Bedazzled” celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. 

Of course before we can get to that we have to spend the requisite 16 minutes discussing the current series finale episode of “Suits: LA” Freedom and bring a close to our experiment in a weekly recap of a television show.

It has been a big and bold week for the Say Reporters and we are here to share it all with you.

First we get the penultimate recap of “Suits LA” out of the way and aside from the inclusion of Louis LItt it was just another example of why this show was ultimately cancelled

Then Devon has a quiz for Sejohn comprised of the four questions he got wrong when putting his Adam Sandler knowledge to the test at a local pub trivia night focused on his films

Next a brief examination of the now common practice of offering video games a few days earlier than release date at a premium cost and how we found a way to avoid that nonsense using old access codes and Xbox Game Pass.

Finally we get to the real meat of the episode when we discuss all of the Brendan Fraser films that have been discussed on the show in celebration of Brendan Fraser History Month and construct a tier list based on our feelings about his performances in each.

This week’s episode starts with an examination of the holiday that is Mother’s Day and how its lack of religious overtones gives it the unique ability to be celebrated with personal traditions rather than societal ones

Then despite the news that Suits LA has officially been cancelled Devon recaps the episode and confirms we will still be recapping the remaining two episodes before the show finishes. 

Once all of that is out of the way we focus on the real meaning of Brendan Fraser History Month by discussing his latest released feature length film “Brothers” and the incredible layers he brings to his performance as Peace Officer Farful. 

Finally to cool things off Devon finally gives some time to the 3AM by Matchbox 20 after an impromptu performance, then we make good on discussing some Dragon themed games, though to keep things Say Reportey Devon dropped the ball on Dragon Quest III and instead brings Double Dragon Gaiden in for Show and Tell against Sejohn’s summation of his time with Dragon Age: The Veilguard

This episode marks the start of 2025’s celebration of Brendan Fraser History Month and we start things off slow and easy by looking at his first appearance in “King of the Hill” Season Five Episode Five: “Peggy Makes the Big Leagues”

After that Devon shares his experiences watching through the Bruce Campbell masterpiece “The Adventures of Briscoe County Jr.” 

Then after we recap episode 10 of “Suits LA” we look at the current state of the world as the trade wars continue and we begin to see their effects in the Video Game and Retail spaces 

Finally we wrap things up with a spoiler-filled discussion about the latest entry in the MCU: “Thunderbolts*” where we discuss everything including how Devon called what that asterisk actually stands for in the title. 

This week’s episode kicks off with two 16 minute rounds of SPOILERS related to our current feature of a “Suits LA” recap and a balls to the walls no holds barred discussion of Ryan Coogler’s newest film “Sinners” if you wish to avoid that we recommend skipping to around the 42 minute mark. 

After that fun Devon actually makes good on a Say Report promise and blesses the episode with a retelling of the events of Office Trivia night at a local pub and how well that went for him and his family. 

Then the conversation continues as we discuss CBS Cancellations, Steaming Streaming Sentiments, and some first hand accounts from the frontlines of trying to preorder Nintendo’s newest console

In this month’s very special episode we are taking a look at the first straight-to-DVD entry in the American Pie franchise… Band Camp. 

This is the film that establishes that the Stiflers have always been the main characters of the franchise and that the only connective tissue stronger than that is Jim’s Dad Noah Levenstein.

We kick off our 4/20 Easter episode with a recap of last week's episode of Suits LA before Devon outlines the adventures he went on during his long Holiday Weekend.

Then Sejohn shares his latest exploration in the the world of Streaming entertainment, leading to a discussion about the current state of Artificial Intelligence. 

Finally things turn cinematic as Devon teases his experience with Ryan Coogler's latest film "Sinners" and Sejohn explains the films he plans to enjoy now that they are available for home entertainment consumption.

This episode kicks off with a discussion about the latest trend that is sweeping the nation and keeping your Say Reporters from seeing “A Minecraft Movie” in the theaters and how it relates to another piece of cinema that elicits a response from the audience “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Then the conversation picks back up regarding the cost of the Nintendo Switch 2 and how with the tariffs the machine may cost as much as Seven Hundred Dollars at launch.

From there the weekly recap of “Suits LA” helps prove that the first six episodes were written before the next seven by acting as a tribute to the late John Amos that borders on being creepy and exploitive 

Finally Sejohn shares his experiences with the first few hours of “Dragon Age: The Veilguard”
And how even without the controversy that it has kicked up the game is just an average experience in line with the rest of the series.
