Acknowledging the level of luxury that things like Toys and Video Games inhabit, this week’s episode starts with a sobering discussion about Nintendo’s newly announced successor to the Switch and what it may mean for the future of the entire gaming market.

Then the talk turns to television for five minutes dedicated to “Beyond the Gates” and the weekly recap of “Suits LA” 

The reticule then lands on the state of the cinematic industry in Sejohn’s neck of the woods and why he has to be more discerning about not only the films he chooses to watch, but also how and when he’ll watch them. 

Finally we wrap things up with a celebration of some indie games before Devon reminds us that all of the gaming console companies have their faults by sharing his latest disappointing experience on his Playstation 5.

Devon lost himself to the game this past week and spends the bulk of this episode discussing his time with “Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark” and the good, bad, and horny that the game has to offer. 

Sejohn then shares his gaming experiences over the past week with his jump into the full retail release of “Backpack Hero” and overall he feels like the game may have become a bit bloated in the interim

After that Sejohn discusses the new Hulu series “Paradise,” Devon provides this week’s recap of “Suits LA,” and the Say Reporters make sure everyone knows their feelings about a certain group of fascist assholes. 

This episode explores the origins and accolades of Ketchup Entertainment, distributor behind “The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie” since neither of The Say Reporters were able to see the movie this past week.  

Then we talk about the video games we have been and are planning on playing this coming week and how it feels like the entire industry is in a bit of a holding pattern as we all collectively wait for the Switch 2 Direct coming in two weeks time. 

Finally Devon has a sobering discussion about the cancellation of “American Dad” on TBS and how the world has convinced itself that FOX will pick the series back up for broadcast despite that being less than conjecture at this point. 

Devon kicks off this week’s episode with a marvelous account of his visit to the dentist for a root canal this past week and how it reminded him of how special the early days of The Marvel Cinematic Universe truly were. 

Sejohn picks things up from there by leading the discussion to the 2025 Best Animated Feature “Flow” and both of your host-companions have a lot to say about their time with it and why they feel it took home the highest accolades from the Academy and what that might mean for the medium going forward

This leads to Devon dazzling us with a recap of the third episode of “Suits LA” and how while it ultimately was more fun than the second it does provide some insight into why criminal trials tend to be wrapped up in a single episode. 

Finally we examine the games we played to celebrate MARIO DAY on March 10th and the new speed running exercise one of your hosts will be embarking on beginning this week!

This week’s episode gets right into the recap as we discuss the very safe second episode of “Suits LA.” 

Then Sejohn was turned off by the art style of the new Beat ‘Em Up game releasing this week featuring Lee Falk’s The Phantom that he ended up skipping the demo, and Devon is standing by to confirm the game isn’t much better when being interacted with. 

This leads the discussion towards some of our good and bad experiences with gaming before we discuss how there used to be whole stores dedicated to selling toys and how that industry has changed in our lifetimes.

Finally we discuss the Lost Media Trailer for the cancelled CW Powerpuff Girls adaptation that totally made us regretful that the series never came to fruition. 

This episode has Devon seeing red when a third show uses the inciting incident from the film and novel “Fletch” for its plot. 

After that Sejohn helps gets things back on track with the introduction of our new segment where we dedicate 16 minutes to recapping the latest episode “Suits LA”  and after the first episode both Say Reporters are left with more questions than answers.

Then a brief glimpse in to the video games we have been playing leads to a revelation for Sejohn regarding “Monolith” becoming “Star of Providence” after being acquired by Dunkey’s Big Mode Studios and a promise to report back next episode after some more research.

Bringing it in for a landing Devon shares his thoughts about the final episode of “My Name is Earl,” after rewatching the series in the wake of Ethan Suplee revealing the originally planned finale we missed due to series being unceremoniously and unexpectedly cancelled. 

In this very special episodes your Say Reporters do what they can to damn the MAN and save the EMPIRE as they celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary!

Along the way both of your host-companions reveal how this film touched them in significant and personal ways and is more than likely directly responsible for them growing up to be the men they are today.

Then Sejohn takes some time to share his experiences with “The Pedestrian” before Devon lavishes praise on Gelato Games for their prompt response to a glitch in their latest release “Guns of Fury” and how good customer service sometimes isn’t good enough for fans of the metroidvania genre.

Closing things off is a discussion about the changes we have noticed in broadcast television that may be acting as harbingers of the type of content to come as our world changes.
