Moosaroo Cup 2

Since modellers are such solitary and isolated beings, some may not have noticed the little inconvenience embracing the world. This little COVID thing has shattered the Model Show Schedules worldwide, including that of IPMS Hamilton’s Heritagecon. With a snowball’s chance in an Australian summer, that there will be a physical 2021 Heritagecon this spring, the Moosaroo II challenge is also in jeopardy. We here at IPMS Hamilton feel that delaying the Moosaroo Challenge until an actual in-person event would not be in the best interest of the competitors or the spirit of the annual challenge; therefore a Virtual Judging Format is proposed. This is to avoid any delay due to the vast distances between the competitors (both physical and philosophical), or possible model damage. 

In lieu of a 2021 Heritagecon, our judging date will be Saturday, April 3, 2021.

The judging will be done via a set series of digital images submitted to IPMS Hamilton. A complete requirements package will be sent to each of the Podcast Competitors to ensure that everything is above board. 

We hope that this gives everyone enough time to finish -if not, show us what you’ve got!
