I have my brother Dustin back on the show, and we discuss our upcoming 31 day fitness challenge. For the entire month of July, we're going to be going head to head, with our fitness and nutrition. I was looking to get serious again with my health, and this is the best way I know how (a bit of competition).

John Vento is often called a chameleon in the Pittsburgh music scene; and, while his critics may use the term as a pejorative, Vento views it as a compliment. He understands that they're motivated by the frustration of their inability to lock him into a specific musical style. After all, the front man for the high-energy, hard-rockin' bands, The Businessmen, and the Nied's Hotel Band, is also known for his introspective, brooding solo recordings.

He has such an awesome energy, and we had a great chat about his background, and about music in general.

John's 2019 MTS release is "Love, Lust and Other Wreckage." His single, "Rainbows And Lightning" reached the Top 20 on iTunes Canada charts, receiving national and international airplay and charting. We have a listen of that song in the episode, so listen up.

Brady picked up a guitar at 10 years old, and pretty much never turned back. It was a nylon stringed classical guitar, and he moved onto electric, and plays some flamenco, and now he joins the three together beautifully. He studied at Berklee's College of music for a while, but actually ended up getting his master's in Psychology!,

We talk about influences in music, and tips for up and coming artists. Also his 2019 release with MTS Management Group/MTS Records is "Passions Collide" featuring the lead single, "Redemption's Cry." The song, featuring a hauntingly beautiful vocal from Brady's wife, Jennifer, is currently charting on the Airplay Today national radio charts.

We dive deep into health and fitness on this one with Jonathan Di Pierro, a Montreal native, now based in Ottawa. Owner of not one but TWO gyms, in Opex Ottawa and Crossfit Actus. Opex is all about personalized fitness, and joining a community environment with a custom program, and Crossfit is all about "constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity across broad time and modal domains" and also very much noted for a community feel in each gym. We discuss the differences in the two, and who would be more suited for each.

We also dissect the difference between working out by having fun, and working out as a chore, and which one is better for your progress (guess what; fun is always better!) We also discuss his awesome story about travelling Europe and Asia, and then following his (now) wife to Mexico and then competing in South American Crossfit Regionals.

Really an awesome chat with a really nice guy.

This week, I had the pleasure of talking Entrepreneurship with Huseyin "The Brain" Aksu. The host and co-creator of The Fantasy Couch; a Fantasy Football paradise, with everything from stats, to how-to's, and so much more.

What was the most interesting though, is his story. How he managed to manifest his own success, through hard work, determination, and just never calling it quits.
