If you ask most people where we find Jesus in the Bible, they’ll point to the New Testament or maybe just the gospels. But Jesus is the theme and focus of the whole Bible!

Jesus is the “scarlet thread” woven throughout the Old Testament. It’s here we see the unfolding of God’s plan to rescue the world through his Son. What we learn about Christ in the New Testament fulfills much of what we read about him in the Old Testament.

Seeing Jesus from the beginning to the end highlights that the Bible—and history itself—has one author. It’s all about Jesus and what he came to do for sinners just like us.
