Sarah and the Safe Word joined me for #18 of The Scoped Podcast. This band was really cool because they play purely for themselves. Their passion for their music is evident when you listen to any of their amazing songs. Great band with a kickass sound! In this episode, we talk about conformity in music and society as whole. We also talked about their experience playing Warped Tour and the effect that had on them as musicians. You even get to hear me sing (sorry). Enjoy!

This episode features The Future Babes on episode 17. Once again, as always, the conversation goes everywhere. Great group of guys who are very talented and very humble. Two members are returning guests. I really dig the style they play because it's unlike most in Atlanta. They have a very unique, cool vibe to their sound and you can hear a lot of their musical influences in the song. It's really hard to nail down all the topics we covered. Of course, as always, we talk Atlanta ROCK and give all bands plenty of love. I had to bring up my experience watching "What The Health" on Netflix and the damage it did to me. There is a lot on this one...give it a listen and enjoy!

Finally, some METAL on the podcast. No matter if its rock, metal or any of the sub-genres of each, I'm into it. In this episode, we discuss the metal in all its forms, the different sub genres, how this affects the genre as a whole..and as always...some good old fashioned story telling. It was really cool to have a hard rocking metal band on the podcast and I will definitely have more on. Also, this episode features their song "Evil Elf" and all I can say is that it is kickass!

He's one hell of a talented guitar player and an even better person. In this episode, we cover his London trip, my Facebook hack, Bands working their ass off, his love of Jimmy Page and a ton more.
