For the 105th episode of the Scottish Independence Podcast I spoke with Ivan McKee who was heavily involved with Business for Scotland in the run-up to the referendum and since then has become an SNP activist and working on things like the Match Blair Project and working with The Common Weal.

We spoke about some of this work and about the speaking tour he is just about to begin.

The 104th episode of the Scottish Independence Podcast is a talk on the post-referendum economic situation, given by one of our previous guests, Ivan McKee . I'll also be interviewing Ivan soon for another episode, but before we get there, I think it'd be enlightening to have a listen to this first.

Before the referendum Ivan toured the country with a presentation that managed to reach a lot of people. In this new talk, he rivisits some of that material but also adds much more and explains where he sees us now in the post-ref environment, and he also explains in which direction he thinks we ought to be travelling.

For the 103rd episode of the Scottish Independence Podcast I spoke with Michael Gray who before and after the referendum has been involved in a number of projects that I am sure you are familiar with. These include National Collective, Business For Scotland, The National and The Common Weal. He is now working full-time with the Common Space.

We talked about why the Common Space project was set up and where it intends to go.

We also got onto some of the other projects he has been involved in and where they are going.

And amongst other things, as a couple of Glaswegians, we had a word about how we felt about Glasgow City Council deciding to do what many people hope can be overturned with the steps in Buchanan Street, is it conspiracy or stupidity? You decide!

For the 102nd episode of the Scottish Independence Podcast I spoke with Kathleen Caskie who is the co-coordinator of the Women For Independence Group.

We started off on the worldwide political gamechanger that is/was Labour's pink bus. However, after that we got down to more serious matters such as the work that Women for Independence have been doing since their inception and what the future holds for them.

We then spoke about more general matters including the surge, the upcoming general election and if the parliament should be 50/50 in terms of gender balance.

In the middle of all that we got into the Cash for Access scandal and some of the other things going on at Westminster.

We also had a look back at the Yes campaign and what its legacy will be.

For the third Scottish Independence Podcast interview after the referendum, I spoke with Chief Executive of the Yes Scotland campaign, Blair Jenkins.

We talked about the things he felt went well in the campaign and those that didn't go so well on the Yes side.

The role of the media in the referendum process was, and still is, a major talking point and I asked Blair how he felt they had behaved.

I also asked him how he felt about the No campaign and some of their more debatable methods.

Finally, I asked him where he thinks the Yes movement is going to now.

Andrew and I were joined for the first post-referendum episode by Gillian Martin and Doug Daniel.

For the second Scottish Independence Podcast interview after the referendum, I spoke with Professor John Robertson (who was also on the podcast about 7 months ago).

The last time we spoke about his research into BBC bias in the referendum and his appearance at the Scottish Parliament (also featured here), so this time we moved on to the period surrounding the referendum and the barrage of Unionist propaganda, knowing or otherwise, in the last few days before the vote.

We also talked about the reaction of the SNP with Salmond and Swinney both saying something about the BBC in recent days. But did they say too much, or not enough?

Was the whole process fair? And if it wasn't fair, why and how?

Apart from that, we talked about the explosion in membership for the pro-indy parties and where the Yes movement can go from here.

To throw in a final teaser, why do Scottish academics often have to speak to Welshmen?
