The local media covered Amy’s disappearance as if it was one of their own that had been abducted. The Mihaljevic’s were a quiet family and were liked by their neighbors. The idea that this family, or any family for that matter, would be thrust into the media spotlight over their missing child is unimaginable. The first two days for the Mihaljevic family probably seemed liked they would never end.
