Lauren is the Director for the USA for Trust in Soda who are an award winning next generation digital recruitment agency and part of the Trinnovo Group.   

She is the Founder of Women in Devops which is global movement and is used to not only amplify the voices of women but of all minority groups within DevOps

6 years in recruitment later, Lauren was given the opportunity to be one of the first on the ground in Los Angeles for Trust in Soda and grow out their business in the US. Not only that, in 2017 she set up Women in Devops and now has thousands of members in her group. She is a huge advocate for diversity and has done incredibly well in her market to support this.

She is an inspiration and it was great getting to know her more on this podcast.

Episode 17 of The Search Podcast. What a story this is! Stewart Cherry joins me on this weeks incredible episode. He is the Senior Vice President of the USA for Oliver James Associates.

Oliver James Associates specialise in recruiting to both the financial services sector (with a particular focus on the insurance sector) and in particular Actuarial, FARC, Underwriting, Data, Change IT and Risk across the US, Canada and Bermuda.

Stewart has been with the business for nearly 10 years now working his way through the ranks. He started off there as a recruitment consultant and is now leading the US operation based in NYC with over 40 members of staff.

He has spent 5 years on the ground in the US when he moved over with only 2 other people.

Episode 15 of The Search Podcast. It was an absolute privilege to have James Osborne on this weeks special episode.

Episode 14 of The Search Podcast. On this episode, Olly Thompson and I went through his very quick route to success as a Manager at GQR.

Straight out of university Olly joined GQR in their London office on their graduate programme back in 2016.

Having been dropped in the deep end after a very strong/successful start in recruitment, Olly was put in a position of management which he was supported and trained into it by the business and his peers.

Episode 13 of The Search. This week I was joined by Simon Nicholls for an in depth chat about his experience so far in recruitment.   

Simon is the Practice Manager for technology contracts at Franklin Fitch in their London office.   

With nearly 8 years in recruitment, Simon has progressed through to the management role he is in now. He went into management after 2 years in recruitment. He learned from his mistakes to make him better as his job.

Episode 12 of The Search. This week I had the chance to talk to Rob Grant who is the General Manager in North America for Harrington Starr.  

Rob has been with Harrington Starr now for 5 years. He was brought into the business to launch and build out the US operation based in New York City.   

Rob has been in recruitment now for around 20 years having also his own recruitment business previously. He has so much experience to share with others.
