Hi,
My name is Sherri, and I am a Social Entrepreneur and an Educator. In this Episode I give you a little background into who I am and what I do. I believe that societal pressures can make it hard for humble humans who are happy to go and grow slow on their journey to sustainable financial freedom can be hard, but it doesn’t have to be.
I grew up in an underprivileged single parent household in the UK, but never allow that to disable my ability to grow. I was a late starter to University, opened my first business when I was 25 (a day care which, I ran for over 6 years) but now part own a bar and a meal prep company and I am currently building a wellness stationery company.
This podcast covers topics on all things to do with personal growth, mindfulness, financial literacy and much more…

In this episode, I briefly discuss why we seek external validation and a few tips on how we can begin to valid ourselves. How to overcome the need to gain external validation? Get into a habit of challenging your negative beliefs and self-talk. You can begin to do this by consciously addressing your negative thoughts and thinking of evidence that contests them. For instance, listing all the things that you’re good at. My superpowers are taking care of people, being kind, cooking and being a loving teacher. What are yours?
