I had that feeling come through me again and grabbed the mic. This meditation collapses the gap between what you want and what you have, instantly aligning your frequency with your desired outcomes so you can experience yourself as the Source of what you’re seeking.
I can’t remember how long ago it was, but I can clearly remember the moment I started following Garret Kramer.
I read one paragraph of his writing and I was hooked. He shared something that flew in the face of my training as a therapist, so much so that it amused me. If it had come earlier, it would have angered me, but I had long stopped attaching my identity to any labels. I actually quite enjoyed those illusions being dismantled. And Garret dismantles a lot.
He spoke to something deep within me and, ever since that moment, I’ve appreciated his unwavering dedication to Truth… all while encouraging each of us to reference our direct experience to determine what’s true for us. In my opinion, this is the highest form of coaching.
When I asked myself, “Who would I love to have a conversation with on this podcast?” Garret Kramer came to mind immediately. And here we are. The result? The most interesting conversation I’ve ever had. The type of conversation this podcast was made for.

Before I share an update, I want to say this:
I’m genuinely grateful for every single person who reads my writing, listens to the podcast, and sends me messages on how my work has resonated with you.
I create for me, but I share what I create for you.
For quite a while, I’ve brought meditation into my work with others. In fact, I still have one client who simply wants to meditate together every session. They find it the most valuable part of their week, so that is what we do.
I recently made a meditation for my father to help him with the fear he experiences at the end of the day when his muscles have failed him and he can’t hold his head up and he feels like he can’t breathe. He has a condition called Kennedy’s Disease. And he’s the last person I ever thought would meditate.
I thought making a meditation for him would be a waste of time. But I felt otherwise.
And I follow what I feel.
So I made it for him and I sent it to him. Now he meditates every night to the sound of my voice. He’s sticking with it, and it’s helping. Immensely.
I’ve had more than a few people tell me I will use my voice as a vehicle for expansion, healing, or well-being. I said I suppose I already do, but there seems to be another layer.
And when I drop in, something else takes over and speaks through me. Something that is both me and beyond me. It’s all been enough to listen to. I want you to close your eyes and have an experience with me… one that is different from a post or conversation. So I’m starting a meditation membership, right here on Substack.
It’s very simple.
One new meditation every week.$6 a month.Cancel anytime.
This will offer a steady place where you can go inward and rediscover yourself.
A weekly companion designed to offer stillness, remembrance, and inner exploration.
A new channel to tune into and see what comes through.
To begin, I’m giving you something from the heart so you can experience it for yourself.Although there isn’t anything pre-planned—I just create the space to be present with a microphone and see what happens— this meditation embodies the frequency of gratitude, the same frequency I’m holding as I write this.
This meditation is free for everyone. You can listen to it right now in this post.
If you’d like a weekly moment like this, a moment of breath, quiet, reflection, and inner clarity, you can join the membership by subscribing (or upgrading) below.
You’ll receive each meditation straight to your inbox, and you can access them anytime here.
Thank you again for being here with me in this corner of the internet I call The Self-Explorers Club.
It means a lot to me.
With gratitude,Zack

I met K a little over a year ago, shortly before I decided to run my very first group program for coaches, called Ascendance.
The timing was impeccable, as it always is. I saw before me an exceptional woman committed to her truth. She balanced professionalism and expertise with warmth, intention, and an infectious sense of humor. She enrolled in the program and we haven’t looked back since. Fast forward to today, and I’m proud to call K a friend and respected peer in this space of multidimensional wellbeing.
Karen Wachs is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach with over 15 years of professional experience in healthcare. K’s practice is fueled by her skills, interests, and passions, offering unique and meaningful wellness experiences to her community and sharing incredible value with the world through her work and her heart. This conversation is fun and expansive, balancing depth with wit—something K does quite naturally. I’m excited to share it with you all. Mona Silbert is among the coaches I deeply respect in this profession. The reason is simple: she courageously follows what’s true for her.
The result is a force of self-expression so pure it effortlessly carries value. The type of value you can’t imitate, only emanate. A value rooted in her presence, passion, and personality, which she shares with the world through her work.
Mona and I first collaborated on a business training program for coaches earlier this year, where we guided them through thirteen weeks of lessons, strategy, and connection. In that time, I got to know her, witness how she works, and talk shop about the craft of coaching. Hers is a connection that I’ve valued ever since.
You can learn more about Mona by following her on Instagram at @coachmonasilbert
You can purchase her book, Time To Shine Mi Amor (which is currently being translated to English) on Amazon.

I first met Dr. Sheila Patel through my work in collaboration with Chopra Global, and I’m so glad I did. She embodies an approach to healthcare that is human, holistic, and deeply wise. She is the doctor I’d want as my primary care physician.
Sheila Patel, M.D., has spent more than 30 years as a primary care physician, and she is renowned for her expertise in integrative medicine, blending modern medicine with the wisdom of Ayurveda, meditation, and yoga.
Dr. Sheila believes our innate ability to heal, which she has witnessed at work in various settings. This philosophy has guided her preventive, personalized, and participatory approach to health, which goes beyond treatment and focuses on teaching people how to support their inner healer, helping them thrive in body, mind, and spirit.
In our conversation we explore the state of healthcare today, how she found her path into medicine, and how she supports patients in her practice. We dive into holistic wellness, Ayurveda, and the essential role of sleep in living a vibrant life.
This is a conversation that bridges the practical and the profound, and you’ll come away with not only insight, but also a sense of what’s possible when we honor the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.

A few months ago, someone close to me got me a gift: a session with Preeta.
This session was unlike anything I’ve ever done. In our time together, Preeta guided me through a range of vocal practices, in which she identified energetic blockages or imbalances and then guided me through self-healing using the vibration of my own voice. You can think of it as self-induced sound healing. Instead of a gong or something of the like, you’re creating the sound from your own vocal chords.
The session was transformational, and this modality of tapping into the power of one’s own voice is completely aligned with the mission and concept behind The Self-Explorers Club. That’s why I knew I had to have Preeta on the podcast.Preeta is a really cool person, and she’s exceptional at what she does.
In addition to developing this unique modality, Preeta is a trained singer-songwriter, vocal coach and lifelong student of spiritual knowledge.
She combines many different techniques from traditional and esoteric wisdom in one-on-one sessions to help people cultivate true empowerment in their life.
You can learn more about her work, and book a session for yourself on her website: www.vocal-empowerment.com
You can also keep up with her on Instagram at @preetamusic and check out her music on Spotify.

Dr. Mitchell Gillard, MD is a board certified emergency medicine physician in Nashville, Tennessee. He is Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is one of my closest friends.
Mitch sees and does things on a daily basis that most people never see or do in their lifetime. He works in the extremes of the human condition.
One one end, he sees people on their worst days. He breaks the worst news. He witnesses profound pain. He sees people who’ve experienced the things we all hope to never experience. He runs toward what many wish to avoid at all costs.
On the other, he brings people back from death. He saves lives. He provides relief. He gives hope. He reassures. He treats. He holds and he heals. He makes decisions in seconds that give people years… years they never would have had, full of experiences they never would have had.
Mitch provides a service to humanity that society depends on, deeply. It’s the type of service that goes far beyond a job. It’s a calling.
One of the things I admire most is how Mitch strives to be the best he can be not only professionally, but also personally. This has led him to work with me, where I had the honor of witnessing his courage and his growth like never before. As a result, Mitch has gone on to widely promote the benefits that therapy and coaching can have on mental and emotional health, relationships, and quality of life.
Mitch and I went to college together and formed a bond that has lasted ever since.
I’m proud to call him my friend, and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to tap into his wisdom and share it with the world in this episode.
