Even the small things add up! Thrifting has long been seen as a timeless way to stay fashionable while on a budget.

In this Season Opener, I have a heartfelt conversation with my personal practitioner Dr. Sonia Singh.  I detail how my life was run down at the end of 2021 with a host of health issues that brought me to finally consider getting care from a doctor.  This conversation dives into how there are many more women like me who put their health care last, who work non-stop without breaks, and who ultimately end up with longer-lasting, higher-costing illnesses because we didn't see a doctor first. 

This episode is a great one for my fellow peri-menopausal ladies, I want to encourage you to seek medical attention if you feel off or because of our age we require additional testing.  We discuss hormones, stress, weight fluctuations, and mental health.  Dr. Singh is an ocean of information and great practical advice.  I'm so grateful to have found her and to introduce all of you to her!

DJ Gracie Chavez is an ambassador for the Texas music scene. She’s doin it real big (DIRB!) pushing the crossover of music genres, playing a spectrum of sounds, and winning folks over. And this mami is the perfect act with a pedigree heavy enough to handle any party.

We talk origins of her love for music, we discuss how her dad was an initial inspiration for her as he introduced her to all types of music. DJ Gracie tells us how she makes partnerships work and what to do when they don't.
