To know your aim will help you not only solve a math problem easier, but it gives you focus in life. Our aims and our values go hand in hand, so consider what your values you. We look at the life of Peter walking on the water to consider his values and how it impacted his aim.

One of the cultural components of our church is to be as a family.

A family is the basic building block of society, so how do we grow that unit so that we are stronger and more unified? As we see in Acts, an open church is a church that grows as a family. After the Holy Spirit moved, there was an openness with their lives to each other. This is in direct contrast to the hiddenness in our churches today.

Authority is the right of a believer. There once was a time when believers walked in authority, casting out demons, healing the sick and raising the dead. Much of that is gone today. So how do we grow in authority?

We are at a time when church is about us. What if we considered what we could do to strengthen the church that we are at.

When we ask this question, it changes our perspective from a self-centered point of view to a God-centered and others-centered point of view. We look at 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 to consider what we can do to strengthen the church.
