Rob Berkowitz, Head Men's and Women's Soccer Coach at East Stroudsburg University, and Meagan DeWan, Assistant Men's and Women's Soccer Coach at East Stroudsburg University, join Kohl and Zak to discuss Leadership. They talk about what leadership looks like and how players can use it to help the team be successful. Rob and Meagan talk about how they have groomed players to become leaders and the ones that were natural leaders. The group discusses some successes and failures within leadership and how things were corrected if there was failure. Kohl and Zak lead the conversation towards what leadership looks like from a coaching perspective and what we should be doing as coaches to help our players have success on and off the field.

Niko Roros, Former Goalkeeper at Point Park University, and Mark Sappington, Assistant Women's Soccer Coat at Campbell University, talk with Kohl and Zak about Protecting the Defensive Third. They discuss what they have done in their playing careers to help organize the defensive shape in front of them to see less shots. We ask them about what they are doing in the coaching world now to help their teams be successful in protecting the defensive third and seeing less shots.

Mark Duffield, Head Men's Soccer Coach at Penn State New Kensington, comes back for another episode to discuss Crosses. Kohl and Zak talk with Mark about what things he is doing with the goalkeepers at his club and the new curriculum they are developing to create a concrete pathway for the players to follow to get to the professional level. We talk about what ages crossing should be implemented and the types of training sessions that should be done at each level to help goalkeepers be successful.

We talk about some of their favorite goalkeeping sessions and how they used them throughout their career.

John Amorim, Director of Goalkeeping at FSA FC, joins is to discuss the Importance of GK Development at the Youth Level. We discuss what young players can do to develop themselves and what their coaches can do to help them improve. These youth level goalkeepers are at an age that the can soak things up like a sponge and help their development.

Amy Hough, Head Women's Soccer Coach at Elizabethtown College, discusses Dead Ball Situations and how she looks to approach them. She talks about her experiences as a goalkeeper and now a coach. Amy gives advice to goalkeepers on how to get better at these situations and somethings that they could work on. We discuss different scenarios and how we might approach them in a game.
