About 2 years ago, I stopped myself and wondered; what am I doing?
What am I working for?
Yes, for money and because I love my business, but it felt like the money was falling into a valley of "goodbye I'll never see you again".
​
And I heard all these people talk about having assets, having a certain net worth, having a very clear idea on when they would retire.
​
And I had no idea, even though I was raised to be financially independent, this was drilled by my mother who at one point had to make a really hard decision around money and divorcing my father.
​
So of course, I care about money, because I've seen how it's broken my family and it still makes me sad to this day.
But my imprint from a young age became; never rely on somebody else for your money. Build your own income.
​
But then I noticed a certain pattern; money came in and it went out again. I was certainly a 'victim' of lifestyle inflation, which meant my wallet grew with me ;-).
​
And at one point 2 years ago, I thought: no more.
​
So I went to talk to financial advisors, wealth managers, asset managers, all of them. And they were all men by the way, who were impressed by my income and services (Oh I thought you just had a fluffy business...), but they had no idea what my core values were.
​
I know I don't live a lineair life and I know you don't either.
Your life can take turns and has its seasons.
So you'll need to build something that's unique to you.
​
Where you'll look at your own wealth identity, the architecture of your wealth plan and the acceleration.
​
