This is part 2 of a 3-part series. You will get the most benefit by listening to them in order. This episode is a depiction of the strangest experience that I had in recovering a lost aspect. Although I don't believe it is a common occurrence, I use this example to highlight some of the nuances in the communication with an aspect of myself and the process of integrating that part of me back into my Self. My hope is to illustrate that it is a divine process with many intricacies and can take time. When you have a better grasp of all that is involved, you will be inspired to be patient and allow your soul to guide and work on its timetable.

Once you have identified a part of yourself that seems to have fallen away, determined by deep introspection, and you have prepared the space for the aspect to return and send out the call for that part to return, then you are ready to welcome that aspect back into the whole.

So many people have complicated lives with countless experiences that seem to just create more confusion... and no answers. Our luminous light body is an energy field that illuminates our energy when we are in alignment and uplifted, holding a high vibration. When we compromise ourselves or our beliefs by ignoring our internal guidance system, which is our emotions,  our energy field leaks and we lose power. We can consciously lose power or unconsciously lose power. Either way, it is time to call your power back from all times and places and honor your gut feelings by listening to what they are telling you. When our soul calls us to face our shadow, it is usually to answer the longing of the soul to live in truth. We may want to move through our spiritual awakening quickly so that we may access the treasures that lay beneath the shadow. I took antidepressants for 17 years and then... they just stopped helping.  At first, I thought my suffering from medication changes, withdrawal and worry and that the flood of emotions that ensued was a hinderance to my spiritual journey, only to realize after many years of healing and learning that it was the catalyst for opening me up to the deeper healing my soul needed.

Your soul will meet you where you are and if you're are on antidepressants or addicted to drugs, your soul will meet you in that space and guide you on your path to healing.

*And although my journey led me to come off of antidepressants, that may not be the path that your soul is guiding you on.

The most powerful shadow healing comes from love. It is rejection and denial that cast parts of you into the shadow in the first place. Acceptance and love will bring them home. Learn to see yourself so that you may love yourself, your whole self. Let go of the facade of who you think you are supposed to be. Over the course of my healing journey, I frequently heard phrases like soul loss and lost aspects and soul retrieval. Although I understood the concept and even had soul retrieval sessions with highly skilled shamans, I didn't really comprehend the depth of healing involved until I had my own direct experience with the entire process. Your healing requires participation, not just receiving.

This episode breaks down these concepts into their simplest form, but can provide a roadmap to profound levels of self inquiry and help to activate the healer within. We all have a healer within us. It is where we get our gut feelings about what should or should not eat, which relationships will be healthy and which ones toxic as well a guiding force that helps us to navigate our lives.

Healing your pain will always be presented as a choice. But make no mistake, it is a choice with great consequences. The  consequences of not healing your pain is to identify with it and eventually become it. The transition to becoming an expression of your pain is subtle and the longer you wait, the harder it will be to see.

The consequence and benefit of healing your pain will be the opening of new doors and possibilities that you would not have thought imaginable. When you are dedicated to doing your shadow work, it is important to steer yourself in a more optimal direction so that you may move forward, but consciously. Bringing light to the shadow allows you to live consciously. For most, this is a new concept; deciding what life you want to manifest instead of constantly reacting. This guided meditation will help you to close out the past of what you have processed and appreciate your life for the experiences and growth it has afforded you and step into a new beginning. Are you ready?! Your shadow work will continue, but take this opportunity to take the reins and get the feeling of YOU being the architect of your life.

Shadow work offered me more insight, depth and healing than any guru, healer or visionary  that I have ever encountered... and I have encountered many. Shift your perception from the shadow to the messenger. The shadow is a divine messenger that has all the information of every experience you ever had. What better ally could you have than one who knows you better than you know yourself? As long as your shadow is perceived as a threat, it will be a threat. Summon the courage to face your shadow and gain the gifts that you have hidden, from yourself, in the darkness.

There seems to be a great interest in the air waves about past lives and accessing them to heal your current issues at the root, but what if you were able to reach into a past life into another version of you whose life ended without closure and bring healing to them?
