It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, though. Pedro wanted to achieve wealth faster and soon got into a situation where he owed a lot of money to his friends and family.

Today's guest on The Shane Sams Show is Nick Loper of Side Hustle Nation!

Nick's early days in the online game was with direct link, pay-per-click affiliate marketing in around 2004-2005!

His experience through an internship with an online shoe retailer gave him his first glance at SEO, testing out budgets for ads, marketing, and e-commerce. When Google changed some of the ways it handles search traffic, Nick's business took a hit! He quickly learned the importance of diversifying his income streams.

You have to diversify your traffic. You never know when algorithms change, companies change policies, anything can happen to make you lose all your traffic when you don't diversify!

Joe had been living in the launch-to-launch course model for quite a while. We sat down at a coffee shop one day to figure out how to add recurring revenue to his website.

Joe began sending out a couple emails simply saying, 'hey, I'm starting what is basically a writing group. Let's pick a day and time to block off 60 minutes.' In those live chat meetings, Joe would help everyone set goals, ask them what they were working on.

His results were amazing! People were becoming more productive and he, in turn, was getting a lot of positive testimonials. Every week the momentum kept building. All Joe had to do was set a time and show up for his audience. It helped to hold his members accountable!

What started as a one time per week meeting has turned into 3 days a week and 6 different time slots. It has become something his members look forward to. So much so, that he hired 2 other people to help him host.

Today's guest on The Shane Sams Show is Anne Beiler, founder of Auntie Anne's! Anne has an amazing story that you're not going to want to miss.

Anne was born and raised in an Amish community in Pennsylvania, where she learned an incredible work ethic. She started baking in large quantities at 11 years old to help her family. Years later, she met and married her husband, Jonas, and they were living a happily married life with their children until a tragic event changed their lives forever.

Jonas and Anne's peaceful life as newlyweds and young parents went into a tailspin after the death of their 19-month-old daughter, Angela Joy, who died tragically in a farming accident in 1975. Anne, in her mid-20s at the time, found herself descending into a world of darkness and depression, and eventually on the brink of suicide. Despite being a faithful churchgoer, she didn't feel she could share her pain with friends or family members. She became silent and lost her voice.

After that, Anne's husband became a counselor, but he wanted to do it for free, so Anne needed to start working. This is where Auntie Anne's was born!

Here are some of my early thoughts reflecting on my life threatening experience...

1) Health is wealth

2) Family and community are everything.

3) Thank God for the flexibility of online business

4) God has a mission for us all, and every day you wake up, he's saying "I'm not done with you yet. Get to work."

5) There is no tomorrow.

Only today.

When you are faced with the real possibility of no tomorrow, you realize how precious today really is.

I was healthy one day, then not the next. That fast.

I was attacking life, and then I was fighting for my life.

If the sun is shining, if you are awake and reading this email...

Then you have TODAY!

Today is the day the Lord has made... let us REJOICE and be glad in it y'all!

Procrastination has no place in our life anymore. I declare war on "tomorrow" and claim "TODAY" as the day of my salvation, my action, my chance... the day of action, the day of effort, the day of stop putting things off, the day of checking off the boxes and getting stuff DONE...

And you should too...

Your life can change in an instant (mine did), and unfortunately, it doesn't always have a happy ending or a second chance or a clear bill of health at the end of the story...

You may not have tomorrow to chase your dream...

Or call that loved one...

Or to start your online business...

You only have TODAY.

Did YOU see the Sunrise?

What does that mean?

It means God gave you another day...

Don't waste it...

No more "tomorrows"

Get out there...

Take action...
