The Shattered Minds

Welcome to The Shattered Minds podcast. Every Sunday, starting on October 31st, Jason Shaddix will tell his two friends, Davis McLemore and Wes Richardson, about a case that delves into the dark, creepy, and mind blowing aspects of human history. From cases of derange killers, demonic possessions, mysterious deaths, to even  alien abductions. Nothing is off topic as the boys explorer the macabre with a nice helping of humor.

Early in 2023, the Shattered Minds podcast will be bringing you interesting cases on the paranormal, true crime, ufos, aliens, weird history, and so much more. So stay tune for the release of the first episode.

Mondays, the worst day of the week for most people. Gone are the fun filled Saturdays and the lazy comfy Sundays. Replaced with the beginning of the slow mundane work filed week. Nobody expects for anything exciting to occur much less the beginning of a long series of horrifying events. But on Monday, January the 29th of 1979, the unimaginable took place. A lone gunman took a rifle and began shooting at children as they made their way to school. Wounding eight kids, and killing two adults, this event is marked as the first modern school shooting. When asked why they would do something so horrible, their answer would baffle people for decades to come. “I just don’t like Mondays…I did this because it would be a way to cheer up the day.” Tonight, we will be discussing the 1979 Cleveland Elementary School Shooting perpetrated by Brenda Spencer.
