A woman, Catherine Leavy, has been charged with making a false bomb threat to Boston Children’s Hospital, which has been targeted with a series of threats related to its gender-affirming care for children. According to a criminal complaint, Leavy admitted to authorities this week that she was responsible for the hoax threat.Leavy was apprehended on Thursday and is facing one count of making a false bomb threat. At a detention hearing on Friday, she was granted release on bond, as stated in court documents. As a condition of her release, she is required to undergo GPS monitoring and stay away from the hospital.The criminal complaint outlines that once investigators traced the originating phone number of the threat to Leavy, agents interviewed her at her Westfield, Massachusetts residence on Thursday.

Tre C. James, 31, was convicted on Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Phoenix for both domestic abuse and the fatal shooting of Jamie Yazzie. The jury also held James accountable for multiple acts of domestic violence committed against three previous intimate and dating partners.
James is slated to be sentenced in late January.
