The suspected murderer of Tupac Shakur might soon face charges as Las Vegas detectives are reportedly optimistic about having gathered sufficient evidence against Compton Crip gang leader Keefe D. He allegedly confessed in a book to killing the rapper. After nearly 27 years since Tupac's fatal shooting in 1996, insiders suggest that leading officers, backed by the district attorney, have built a strong case against Keefe D.

NEW YORK - An NYC drug dealer received a 10-year prison term on Friday for providing fentanyl-laced heroin to actor Michael K. Williams of "The Wire," leading to his death. Irvin Cartagena, 40, from Aibonito, Puerto Rico, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Ronnie Abrams after pleading guilty in April to drug distribution conspiracy charges. The tragic incident unfolded in September 2021 when Williams fatally overdosed in his Brooklyn penthouse. Hours before his passing, he had purchased the lethal heroin from Cartagena during a sidewalk transaction captured on a security camera in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood.

In Wellington, New Zealand, a jury has delivered a guilty verdict for a mother, Lauren Dickason, who was charged with the murder of her three young daughters. Despite her defense that her mental illness rendered her incapable of responsibility, the jury rejected her plea.

The trial has started for Brandon Case and his father, Gregory Charles Case, two white men from Mississippi charged with attempting to murder D’Monterrio Gibson, a Black FedEx driver. The incident, which took place in January 2022, involved shots being fired at Gibson after he dropped off a package at a residence in Brookhaven.
