This is a great episode where I open up a forum for discussion and nobody takes part in it.  I also have multiple guests cancel and I was going to get a hypnotist on but he was way too complicated to book.  I had to go to this online scheduling service he was using and choose a time, but for some reason the app wouldn't work for me.  I tried multiple times, but it kept saying "this time not available" so I figured I'd message him to let him know, but then I thought, "maybe he saw that I was going to book him and made it so the site won't work from the link he gave me" but then I remembered he was a hypnotist and not a psychic and for some reason I always associate the two.  Point is:  he's not on the show. I'm sorry but you can't make that stuff so complicated.  It just wasn't worth it.

I did this one live in the middle of a busy street.  But of course I'm joking.  It was recorded in the middle of a mean street!  And there's no room for error here folks.  As the dusk of a new day approaches, don't put on your tap shoes yet.  There's no telling what the future holds and it's holding on tight.  But enough about me.  Let's listen to this latest episode of the show and blah blah blah. So the fact of the matter is…

Fuck.  I had this great thought.  I lost it.  Too drunk.  So typical.  

My keyboard stand (which I stupidly left at the gig) is being held for ransom by the guy from one of the other bands, what I'm beginning to think is a troubled musician type, possible drug problem as he asked if I'd loan him $20 when I come to get it...cuz he has no car and he lives 40 minutes away.  When I realized how far he was, cuz I thought Grosse Ile was by Grosse Pointe (In my defense, I've been away for 10 years) but either way, I cancelled the meeting cuz a new one would be $20 and that combined with gas, I figured I'll break even. When I originally told him I'd loan him the money and go to his house, and he was ECSTATIC!  He called me mikey mike mike or whatever like we were best buddies.  (Typical user.  Excited cuz he can hang up and call his dealer.)  I hung up after I told him I'd be there in an hour and a half.  After 30 minutes, he called me asking where I was.  That's when I was like, this guy's an addict.  Stay far away from him.  I told him I had to reschedule, so he started arguing the point, saying things like "well, aren't you almost here by now?" and things like that.  It was fucked up.  Now he’s calling me, for what I don’t know.  He’s so angry that he’s not getting his fix.  Thank god I live behind barbed wire.

This is my exciting come back episode.  I came back from not doing an episode.  It's identical to the last one.  As a matter of fact, if you listened to that one DON'T listen to this one!  You're just wasting your time.  And you know how they feel about that. Big brother hates it when you waste your time.  If there's time to lean there's time to clean.  That's one of those rhyming sentences that they like to throw at you.  This episode is one about the rising cost of blame in this world.  Who is to blame for our current unavoidable situation?  I'm just kidding.  It's not unavoidable.  It couldn't be.  I mean...we could've avoided it, if we had known...or wanted to.  None of that matters.  Just listen to the episode.  If somebody calls you during the episode, text them back and say you're listening to the Shotgun Mike Hostettler and quit bothering me!!  

There.  I've said all I had to say.  This forum is totally working for me.  Finally an outlet for all my thoughts, literally as they come to my head.  It's crazy.  And now it'll be on Spotify.  It's progress I guess.  In the long run.  Human life will all be dead, but progress will have been made.  I'm sure of that.
