The Curse of the Cat People (1944) takes place 6 years after the first film. Oliver Reed and Alice are married and have a daughter, Amy. Amy is a creative, whimsical child who struggles to relate to her peers. One day, Amy starts talking to an imaginary friend...the ghost of Irena!
