What is imposter syndrome?
According to Wikipedia it is: “a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, talents or accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a "fraud".”
This can happen to anyone at any time for any reason.

- this is actually years of programming coming to the surface when you are trying something “new”
For example: creating this podcast I was faced with this syndrome head on for the first time.
- What do I have to say that’s so monumental ?
- I didn’t even finish school, who would listen to me?
- I’m so young, what do I have to offer?
- people are going to think I’m a fraud and make fun of me or call me out.
These are LIMITING BELIEFS that I internalized and created that only ignited the imposter syndrome.
So, how do I identify this syndrome within myself?
1. Self-awareness is NECESSARY. A constant assessment of self-thought is the first line of defense in identifying and weeding out Imposter Syndrome tendencies.
2. Journaling. Writing down your FEARS! This is something that is often looked over because of its simplicity, however this act is POWERFUL in identifying when imposter syndrome strikes.
3. Speaking with your TRIBE. Utilize your tribe as your safe space to voice your fears. Often times if YOU can’t identify, THEY can.
How do I overcome Imposter Syndrome?
1. For every fear you have, write out a list of truths that counter that fear.
2. Surround yourself with reminders of how badass you are. This includes PEOPLE. Alerts on your phone.
