However, this should not discourage us as Christians from reading and studying God's Word. In today's episode, we discuss some practical tips for studying and reading the Bible.

Today as we consider God’s Amazing Love we focus on the hope we have in Christ. In this series, we have been considering the words of the popular hymn “Why Did My Savior Come To Earth”, written by J. G. Daily in 1892. The last verse, “Till Jesus comes I’ll sing His praise, And then to glory go, And reign with Him thru endless days, Because He loved me so!” directs our thoughts to the hope found in Christ.

A familiar, beloved hymn begins with the words, “Why Did My Savior Come to Earth?” Written by J. G. Dailey in 1892, this hymn asks a very important question. In this series, we will take a closer look at the lyrics of Mr. Dailey’s song. "Why did He drink the bitter cup of sorrow, pain, and woe? Why on the cross be lifted up? Because He loved me so!” In part two of this series, we discuss the access we have to the Father through Christ.

Today's episode begins a new series of conversations based on the song "Why Did My Savior Come To Earth?" written by J.G. Daily in 1892. Jesus came to preach the gospel. He came to heal the brokenhearted. He came to set free the captives. He came to provide recovery of sight to the blind, and He came to proclaim the year of the Lord. Join the conversation and be sure to share your thoughts with us on today's episode.

David provides a key for us in living a meaningful and fulfilled life. In Psalm 34, he talks about fearing the Lord. A key we find in living a life of purpose is to fear the Lord in our desire Him.
